Holy Googly Eyes, Quick Kick!

Hopefully they fix that before the packs hit retail.

Honestly, a whole lotta folks are probably only buying this pack for Quick-Kick and the MASS Device piece.

Snake-Eyes is a mild improvement, but I'm totally not feeling his "purple" hue.

Bludd looks OK, but the Desert Pack one is better.

That Cobra Commander is possibly the most worthless figure Hasbro's producing this year. Yay a new headsculpt and some different colors on one of the line's most pegwarming figures to date.

Yeah I'll add this to my collection for the Quick Kick and Major Bludd (passed on the single card one when I heard this one was better).

And of course the MASS piece and DVD make this worth it.

I'm purely getting this pack for Quick Kick, but I hope they fix his eyes before it's mass produced, or he'll need some help from mr. sharpie.

I don't have a problem with the single Bludd (I think he looks better than this one actually), SE is OK, but I was fine with the wave 1 one, and CC is just irritating to have again.

Ironically, they finally give Cobra Commander two open hands... then in the same four-figure pack, they give Quick Kick only one.

So in five DVD sets, we get 3 Snake Eyes, 2 Cobra Commanders, and another each of Duke, Major Bludd, Roadblock, Destro, and Stalker. Lady Jaye, Baroness, Serpentor are new versions. The BAT, Cobra Trooper, and Cobra Officer are largely forgivable as they are army builders.

Quick Kick, Dusty, and Alpine are the only truly new figures/characters. Three out of sixteen, although I think I may have missed someone. Regardless, there's not really a great ratio of new-to-old here.

Don't get me wrong, I love all the extras that Hasbro is tossing our way, and I'll pick up all five of them... I just wish we could have gotten more figures that are 'new'.

For me, the pros are:
Quick Kick
Snake Eyes
Major Bludd, which I missed the first time
MASS device piece
Cool Cobra cube thing. I haven't seen Pyramid of Darkness in years, so I forgot what that piece does

Cons:
Quick Kick's chopping hand. I hate when the designers or sculptors get cute with the figures. Kind of like with Shipwreck's Popeye forearms and Spirit's "peace out" fingers.
No dog tags with Bludd.
Another Cobra Commander
No Fatal Fluffies!

As for Cobra Commander, I might be more welcome to him if the Mask comes off to reveal his head underneath. I'd be even more for it if said head wasn't masked at all or at a minimum was something different (ala that really crappy comic that came with the Trip-Wire/CC 2 pack).

Am I the only one excited to get all the figures in the Entertainment Packs? Sure, they're varients-- but they're all good varients. I like that the CC here has two hands and no gold accents, which look great but don't last very well on a loose, played with figure. Keep that Wave 1 CC mint on card and pose this one at Cobra HQ! These are the best DVD figures that I've seen yet.

I love Quick Kick and don't mind the chopping hand. I hope the googly eyes get fixed and I'm still surprised he doesn't have ankle articulation.

Snake Eyes looks awesome in comparison to wave one's repaint. Bah! I was hoping to see his backpack, but I'm sure that'll be coming when they need to repack/paint him again sometime down the road.

I'll take Major Bludd as I never got the single carded one, I don't mind the cartoon colors either.

Cobra Commander with a new hood, cartoon colors, two open hands, and the little microphone, control rod, remote...thing looks okay too.

After v 3 i really don't need another snake -eyes, I have superior customs for cc and quick kick (mine with ankle articulation) and that major bludd would need some work so aside from the mass device peice i really don't need this pack. The quick kick is a major failure on hasbro's part, of all people the martial artists are the ones that need ankle articulation the most!

I'm sure it was just a paint flop, and that some insane toy painter over there in China, or wherever isn't having a little fun at our expense.
