Trying to find out more details. From what I've been reading is it had something to do with one of the guys who works online for the WWE made some kind of racist remark to Del Rio. Del Rio slapped the guy and was fired by the WWE. Like I said,I haven't gotten the full details.

This sounds like one of the stupidest things I've heard in a while. I understand the WWE not condoning this sort of thing. But they made it public and they really didn't give everyone the whole story. All they have said is that ADR was fired and that he should have handled himself in a more professional manor. Nothing about why or what happened to the guy he slapped. I've heard some rumbling that this could be a work (I doubt it), but I wouldn't be surprised if he was back in the WWE within a couple years. The WWE seems to be jumping the gun lately with their reactions to different employees doing things, atleast that my thoughts between this and what happened with Emma in June.

She was caught shoplifting and was fired and then rehired the same day or within a 24 hour period. As for Alberto Del Rio it bothers me that he got fired despite his crappy gimmick I have always thought he was a good performer, I always found his matches entertaining well most of them. I'm with GPM what bothers me is the way they are not giving the whole story, people are saying it's a work and/or are crying conspiracy like the whole thing was setup to have an excuse to fire him due to budget cuts. At the end of the day WWE keeps losing good talent by either firing them or burying them in the midcard.

Shoplifting? Really?

Well her lawyer said it was a misunderstanding but apparently it was an Ipad case she was trying to shoplift, supposedly WWE was worried that with the arrest her work visa would get pulled and she would get sent back to Australia and they preemptively fired her once things got settled and apparently due to fan backlash they hired her back. Looks like the whole budget cuts thing is really serious and they are looking for an excuse to fire anyone, if I was a WWE Superstar I wouldn't even fart in the locker room.

I haven't seen her on tv recently so I didn't know what happened to her.

I like the weird ones but not the criminal ones...

I like Paige but supposedly Vince doesn't get her gothic persona so she's probably not going to be doing much.

I don't know...I think she might get the title back this Sunday.

If they really want to, they could have a great match with her an A J Lee...something that could really go the distance and not being done in under 5 minutes.

What I hate about this whole story is the fact that there have been no facts released other than ADR didn't handle himself in a professional manner concerning another employee. Until it is proven, all this talk about racist comments is just rumors in my book.

ADR has been financially set for a while now. He has said that he was not going to resign with WWE when his contract ran up, and was looking to go back to Mexico as an even bigger star than when he had left. This is part of the reason WWE really hasn't been pushing him, or even putting him into long term storylines as of late. Vince has been looking for a reason to let him go because of this. This was his out. ADR slipped up for whatever reason, and WWE pounced on the chance to lose dead weight.

As for him moving on to TNA, I seriously doubt they could afford him. They are already having issues paying their current talent, and now that they have no TV deal, even less revenue is coming in. I'd be willing to say that within a year, TNA will be bought out, and most of the decent talent will find their way to other promotions, with WWE picking them clean first leaving the scraps for the rest. WWE will also likely buy their video archives so they can put together more extensive DVDs of their guys that have done time in TNA.

Back to ADR. I seriously doubt this was a race issue. That would give ADR grounds for a lawsuit for unlawful termination. Since there hasn't been any rumors of a lawsuit, I'd say there's not too much credibility to the racist allegations.

I really don't see TNA closing soon or the WWE buying them. TV's a whole different thing and I'm sure they will land somewhere, even if it's on syndication someplace. The real big thing is I really don't see the WWE wanting much if any of TNA's talent. As for pay, well a whole lot of the WWE roster's been unhappy with their pay this year.

Yeah,I'm still trying to figure out why he slapped the guy. What I first read was the guy was asked to clean something up, he quipped "isn't that Del Rio's job?" and Del Rio slapped him.

Considering that most of the talent was already released from the WWE, I really don't see them wanting too much of TNA's talent. But you never know.

Yep, indeed it was for racism on Alberto "El Patron".

Check this video interview (This TV channel "Televisa" is like NBC for you that is public) where Alberto tells about the incident that happened for his release.

Use close caption option in youtube to translate into English "I used and it works fine, I also speak Spanish"...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9ydVPoYRcM

Alberto's contract ends in 1 year inside the US so that means he ca not wrestler for TNA or any other company in the US before that one year contract end.

Alberto is working with lawyers to demand about that situation plus the racism for what he was released from the WWE.

Yeah you did I'm glad Paige won I was getting tired of AJ and WWE pandering to her in a vain attempt to get CM back,

Really? I thought the 'e had her as champ so long bc she's been the best female wrestler in the wwe since chyna, and aj can actually cut a good promo. I think wwe has little hope in seeing cm punk again.

About adr: his gimmick was stale but his in-ring work was solid. I enjoyed a lot of his matches and I think he'd been misused. It seems like he may have a valid reason for his actions, but of course I wasn't there, so..
