He reviews for Figures.com. Just like with He-Man.org, Mattel sends them an early sample to review. And Jorge...nice to see another Figures.com reviewer on these boards! I didn't know you posted here. Of course, I myself haven't been posting as much recently. I enjoyed your review, and love your photos! You did an excellent job with those! I was hoping to get a review sample of Duncan as well but Mattel did not send us one : (

Mattel Reveals More SDCC Exclusive Details
JPtoys26 replied to synch's topic in Masters of the Universe
rumor going around is that they will have other toys to sell there like say heman & askeletor or some such... or maybe newer ones like merman & zodak :S Who knows more than likely just a rumor but it did happen with nycc Yes, Mattel confirmed they would be setting aside a small amount of Beastman, He-man and Skeletor to sell at SDCC. This was confirmed back in late February but my guess is they will be gone by Thursday and will be extremelly limited! -
Mattel Reveals More SDCC Exclusive Details
JPtoys26 replied to synch's topic in Masters of the Universe
I am hoping as I still need pretty well everything :S The exclusive will not be a toy guys so we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Toy Guru confirmed this on the He-Man.org boards. -
Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you guys enjoyed the review. I am trying to really set my reviews apart form others in terms of the photo quality and showing off the posing potential of the figures as well. After all, they are action figures " not statues" lol

Glad you liked it, I am going to be incorporating photo-shoped images like that with all my future MOTUC reviews.

Here is a link to my new MOTUC Hordak review. I look forward to everyone's feedback and my SDCC He-Ro Advance Review will also be up by the end of the week. http://www.figures.com/databases/action.cg...e=1195&nl=1

1) I have ordered every MOTUC figure since the line began. 2) I am in the USA 3) I have to give mattycollector.com a D based on my recent and past experiences with them. Their customer service representatives are very helpful and curteous but theri shipping department has no idea how to pack collectibles properly for the optimal protection possible. While I have have luckily had absolutely no issues with ordering all the figures I have wanted, I have nevr received a truly mint or perfect condition package. I just recently ordered 5 Hordaks between a friend and me and all 5 figures packages were mangled and crushed. Mattel really needs to train their fulfillment crew on how to properly use styrofoam peanuts and other packing materials to ensure the condition of these collectibles during shipping.

Filmation characters now a possibility in MOTUC?
JPtoys26 replied to Eric's topic in Masters of the Universe
That is so awesome! I guess there truly are nolimits as to what the future of MOTUC holds! Tytus and megator are obviously going to be either Collect and Connect or 17" to 18" scale if they get made. -
Are you kidding me? Battle Cat is going to be HUGE and there is no way in hell that he will fit in a MOTUC blister card. Besides, Mattel has already confirmed that Battle Cat will be available in early 2010. No, I'm not kidding you. And who said anything about blister cards? November's figure is unknown at this point. Mattel hasn't come out and said that each month the figure released will fit on a standard MOTUC blister card. Look at King Grayskull -- he came in a box. I don't believe the figure will be Battle Cat. I just stated my preference that it not be him. And when did they confirm Battle Cat for early 2010? I've read every Q&A on every site for the last 10 months and I don't remember hearing a confirmation of Battle Cat in early 2010. Dude, Grayskull was a Convention Exclusive figure which is why he was boxed rather than carded. Battle Cat was confirmed to be released in early 2010. Read the quote below straight from He-Man.org: 8) Will Battle Cat be released early in 2010, or rather lately? He will be released early in 2010. More details will be announced at SDCC.

If you read all the Mattel Q&As from different sites, they have revealed alot of info. Here are just some of the hints that Mattel has passed along: 2-packs are coming Battle Cat will be on dispaly at Comic-Con There will be around 6 brand new MOTUC figures on dispaly at SDCC Orko is confirmed 1 NA figure and 1 POP figure have been confirmed for 2010 Hope this helps!

Oh wow! I think that is the best news I have heard from Mattel since they announced the MOTUC line last July! Where did you here about the Thundercats? At the panel or from Cornboy?

Have we been given a bad figure?
JPtoys26 replied to The Great Bandito's topic in Masters of the Universe
I would have to say that the crappiest figure so far "hands-down" is Zodac. I mean what a crappy figure for crying out loud could'nt they have made the 200X version instead which is 10 X cooler than the boring vintage one.
