I just saw another full set at Target the other day. Seems this line might actually be AVAILABLE for people that want to by them. I'm thinking I may take my chances on wave 2...wait to see them in stores instead of going online, save $10 on shipping.

Yup, Target & TRU seem to be getting more of them. Hopefully not so many that it'll impede wave 2.

And I realized something tonight. The first of these 6" figures I bought was X-Wing Luke. My very first SW figure ever back in 1979 or 1980? X-Wing Luke! Talk about coming full circle.

Mine was Teebow but I Imagine this line has to run out of gas a little bit before we see him.

I've seen these nowhere but at Target so far, and the Target I went to over the weekend had a ton.

I've got everyone now but just got around to reviewing Luke: Star Wars Black Luke review

Does this Luke make anyone else want Luke in the Snowspeeder outfit? I know it's pretty similar, but I love that outfit!

No, not yet. It's just so similar X-Wong pilot, when they do make it, there's probably going to be 95% parts re-use. Do it farther down the road and get some variety out there now.

It looks like these 2 are shelfwarmers in my area as well... I haven't spotted a Sandtrooper yet...

I agree- they definitely need to wait a year or two, but I imagine he'd have a hooded head as well (with visible Wampa scars!).

Actually the only parts that they could reuse would be the upper legs and accessories. The jacket (body and arms), gloves, boots, and thermal cap would all require new sculpts.

R2 is the most common and Sandtrooper the least common but truth is I have seen all 4 multiple times at multiple stores. I hope its because stores are just stocking them well and that its not because they aren't selling.

We complain when we don't find the toys we want, we can't complain when we DO.

We'll just have to wait a couple months until wave 2 should be hitting and we'll see how it shakes out.

Sandtroopers and R2 are moving quickly around here, but Maul and Luke are hanging around a bit.

Round here were not doing too bad for figs...I've spotted plenty to go around & on Saturday there was even a Sandtrooper at TRU which is odd cause they go quick there.....at a few targets there were plenty of all figs to go round as well.....Sandtroopers still available on the shelves here in Phoenix area....

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and...I still haven't bought any of these! I think I read somewhere in a review that the plastic on them is soft and rubbery, and that, paired with the price, has scared me away. What do you guys think? Is the plastic soft in-hand, or did I just read a review by a picky reviewer?

I didn't really notice anything wrong with the quality of the plastic.

Plastic is fine, these are great figures, probably the best you will ever see Hasbro make. You should go watch the reviews on JediInsider.

Couldn't comment on the plastic as I've still not taken my set out of the package. Always very tempting, though. They look so nice in there and I have no room to display now, anyway.

My Sandtrooper blaster likes to bend but not nearly as bad as 8" Lion-O's eye of thundera......he must've left it near his hairdryer again.....but other than that this fig rocks!! DB these figs are awesome & all the kool kids are getting them....at least buy a Sandtrooper test drive it, set him on your computer desk & if you don't suddenly have the urge to tell him these aren't the droids he's looking for for....shove it back in the box carefully and take it back, or give it to toys for 30 somethings(its a new non-profit I'm starting up this halliday season)....I'll get you the address for my charity if you don't find yourself in like-like you status w/the Sandtrooper......cmon all the kids are doing it man.....Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

Well I've never seen these on the shelves, which is nice. I want them to sell out and for the stores to feel good about ordering more.
