Thundercats Toy Haul thread

Recommended Posts

Has anyone heard of anyone else finding a 6" Tygra? Seems to be the only thing I can't find.

I hope he isnt canceled...

From what i've seen he isn't out

Its safe to say since Ebay is not flooded with him yet...

Well it sucks to hear that, but atleast now I can stop wasting my time looking for him.

Yeah I am about to wash my hands of this line (the 4"). I've got pretty much all the 4" stuff except for the first two Mumm-Ra's released, and I just had to shelf my tower of omens for lack of room. The line was an ok line, not the greatest, but not the worst, but I really feel like it is running out of steam.

Hey everyone bad news...I am a manager for Target and we will no longer be carrying Thundercats toys chain wide starting very soon they will be moved to clearence endcaps and will be gone from our toy line up. Walmart and TRU have done the same this is not good news...that leaves only Kmart and Bandai won't be able to market Thundercats w/o TRU and walmart...

What scenarios would you think will allow stores like Target/TRU to remove clearance tags from Thundercats? I really hope Spin Master toys replaces Bandai with this line!

none..the companies have been burned by horrible sales after the initial rush...I don't want to see them stop being made so I would like another company to take over...even playmates...they did a EXCELLENT for years with the star trek line of toys.

Lets just say this current Tcats toyline is cancelled and a new toy company takes over...you being the manager, would you consider re-investing in this line for your retail?

I found the first release 6-inch classic Lion-O at Marshal's for $7.99 the other day. I regretted not getting it when it first came out, and I really didn't like the "open-mouth" sculpt on the fairly-recent second release. So as you can imagine I was quite thrilled to find this at a discount store. They had Tygra too but I couldn't afford both of them.

I sure hope Thundercats lives on in some form after Bandai loses the license. I always loved the old show, and the new one is just as good if not better. The animation's definitely better.
