  1. I'm interested in a masked Deathstroke. However, I really don't have anything to trade. If you're interested in selling, though, I'm up for it.
  2. Waves 2 and 3 have been offered to comic shops recently. Movie Masters hit shops about 2 weeks ago, I think. I think these should have been offered to shops from the start. My shop owner said he can't re-order any DCUC, and he was shorted 5 cases of wave 3 that they couldn't replace.
  3. Yeah, something similar happened here as well. It was a sort of cold medicine (may be what you're talking about, I'm not sure) that was yanked from shelves. Instead of destroying it, Target must have sold it to Grandview. The people working didn't know what we were talking about, but the next time we went in there was a warning/caution sign on the stuff, then the following weekend it was gone. They're like a really bad flea market in there, but sometimes you get lucky. They sometimes have amazing deals on some really great stuff, especially seasonal items (found a really cool stainless steel tankard right after St. Patty's Day this year). If you're into junk-prop building or costuming like I am, it's a good place to browse, and sometimes they have some pretty great action figures, lightsabers, nerf guns and "target Exclusive" toys for amazingly cheap. I found many items for my Proton Pack replica there for pocket change, and I found many items for a Viking costume I made for literally pennies. They have belts for a quarter that have Target price tags for $30, which I used to fashion a sturdy armor harness for the Viking. It's not a place to buy medicine or electronics. But if you're a pack rat, it's heaven.
  4. I really like the ideas posted so far. I also think there NEEDS to be a Doomsday figure, and he needs to be as hulking and menacing as possible. The DCSH version didn't get the circulation it needed and there hasn't been a DCD version in quite a long time (besides the 2-pack with the Death of Superman), so the demand from collectors is really there. Plus he's one of the lead characters in the best selling comic of all time and the guy that killed Superman, so the appeal to regular fans is there. I'd like to say I'd personally buy every figure in a wave that has a Doomsday build-a-figure. We need one!
  5. I'm willing to trade a Grodd torso/head (came with Harley) for a Grundy right arm (comes with Deathstroke). I can't find Deathstroke at a reasonable price but I have a bead on one from the Teen titans line for very cheap. Reply quickly if you're interested in a Grodd torso!
  6. Hey guys, I posted this in the Sightings thread but I thought I'd mention it here as well. If anyone is having real problems finding these figures locally, here are a few unexpected places to look. I've found all of wave 1 at several Kroger stores in the south (I think they're called Fred Meyers or something elsewhere) and they're under $10. At a local Grandview Weekend Outlet I found a lot of wave 3 (Robin, Nightwing, GL) for $3.99 each and all of series 1 for $4.99 each. Grandview Outlets are scattered around the south, at least, and sell overstock or returned Target stuff (usually junk). They're also a handy source for lightsabers ($1.99) and Hulk hands (also $1.99). These stores are also flexible and if you're nice to the clerks or if you think an item is damaged or broken, they'll usually cut a deal with you. (Example: if you get 2 figs for $4.99 each but one is opened, if you ask they can cut the opened figures price in half at their discretion).
  7. I found DCUC Series 1 and 3 in a very unlikely place today and it blew me away. It's called the Grandview Outlet. They're a weekend outlet and I know they're scattered around the south. I think they sell Target overstock and returned items (which means they mostly sell outdated or broken junk). I found DCUC Robin, Green Lantern and Nightwing in unopened and pristine condition for $3.99! (each). They also had Red Tornado, Orion, Penguin, the Demon and Batman for $4.99, but the Demon and Batman were opened. The bottoms of the packaging had a green sticker with clearance on them... so... some Target stores might also have them on clearance. I bought Robin, Nightwing, GL, Orion and Batman. The Batman was actually broken (his leg had apparently been broken off by a previous owner and returned).
