I think there was stil potential with the old show. They diversified the villian lineup and storyarcs they could use. As for the future itself, it's possible to bring back some old enemies and such, if they chose to. Bishop lived for about two centuries before meeting the turtles. Baxter could theoretically come back as well, either the same way as Bishop or by using the comic version where he puts his mind into a computer chip. Contact with the Triceratons and Federation could still happen, which I'd personally like to see, not to mention the Utroms. There's always the possibility of Renee and Lord Simultaneous. But if they really want to make this new spin on turtles brand new and refreshing then they may not use any of them unless they need some magic rabbit for a story.

I just got suddenly reminded of the atrocious and eventually cancelled Star Trek:Enterprise.

Don't see anything wrong with the time traveling. It has roots in the comics and they've already done it using Lord Simultaneous' Time Sceptor. I just hope we get to see more of Renee and Lord Simultaneous.

I have that future He-Man action figure that came with that otehr figure, was it called Slushhead? He has a dome over his head that's filled with water. As for the story, yeah, heard the comics have done the living out in open angle, but maybe they'll use it to bring Shredder back? Though personally I'd rather he never come back. Sounds like their adventures on D'hoonib (sp). Maybe they'll bring back the Federation and the Triceratons. I'd like to see more on them.

Yeah, Savanti was shown in the ep where the combined Draco and Ve-sama (Ultimate Niuja) were first shown. The ep also showed Renee, the Timestress, and Lord Simultaneous. That's the ep that shows how Ultimate Ninja/Draco got ahold of the Time Sceptor. Savanti wanted the Sceptor as well. He was an apprentice to Lord Simultaneous, prior to Renee, but because he had evil desires for/with it he got banished to the past. Renee and the turtles go back in time and meet Savanti, a fight breaks out, Lord Simultaneous banishes Savanti further back in time, to the dinosaur era. According to the comics Savanti challenges the turtles and somehow bring them to his dino time period where they fight it out. On the back of the box for that dinosaur and Leo set says the Foot Mystic sent the turtles back in time to the dinosaur era. We'll have to wait to see how the cartoon handles it, but it may just be as the toy box said. Now the next question is will they introduce Savanti's wife? She became another baddie to contend with in the comics for the turtles and Renee.

I finally found the purple Tricertop at a Wal-mart a few days ago. He wasn't even on the display rack. He was stacked up on top of the aisle shelf area. I was about to leave when after looking voer the display racks but then thought to look around again and spotted him way up there.

I picked him up the week after New Years I think, or there abouts. He wasn't even on the TRU computers for some reason when they scanned the barcode at checkout. I'd like to see a Lord Simultaneous figure, as well as Renee but if they did Renee I wonder which form they would use. I think she appeared three times to the turtles at three different points of her life in the comics.

That was pretty funny, seeing Gen dressed up like that. Like the time when April pretended to be a news reporter. @loll@

I like the new TMNT for its seriousness and it does have humor in it. The old show was good in its day but started getting repetitive and more slapstick. As for Rocksteady, Bebop, I don't really care that they're not in it. Those guys were good in the premiere but after that they just became lumbering jokes. I don't care for Hun either. Now Tatsu was a right hand man.

Zone was one ep that continued in comic form afterwards. Violenjiger resurrects some gestaults and other large Decepticons from the past, they're all about the same size now. The Destron Generals destroy some planet and Star Saber is thought to perish. Dai Atlus and Sky Bomber (? I forgot his name) take them on, along with some Micromasters who were pretty ineffective. The Destrons are after some energy capsules, Zodiac power (?). Dai Atlus basically beats them soundly, of particular note is that he killed Predaking, slicing him in half. Star Saber appears back on Cybertron and gives Dai Atlus leadership of the Autobots.

To avoid repeating what others have said, I'd like to also see General Blanque and a Federation Soldier. A Triceraton prison guard, maybe even Grool (the Triceraton with removable horn/pick), as well as Zog. Oh, and with the line up of Air Ninja's, how about a Triceraton Soldier in that flight gear they use.

Baxter was always worried about what would happen to him. What I like is that Hun is now facing this.

I wouldn't mind getting a Targetmaster Scourge, to be the real Scourge, and use a normal Scourge to be a Sweep.
