  1. To me, GI Joe means a childhood of fun memories as myself, my dad, and my friends would build dioramas and act out different scenarios.
  2. Even though the uzi comes in Firefly's hand, it is supposed to be a weapon for Storm Shadow
  3. It has already been revealed that Destro's mask isn't his mask. The mask is made up of nanite technology that Cobra Commander uses to control him. I would rather see Destro without a mask, than see him walking around like a zombie.
  4. I could see Stane's son being in one of the movies to avenge his father's death. Seeing that there is a Titanium Man action figure from the movie line, maybe he could pop up too. Seeing how Samuel L. Jackson inspired the new Nick Fury, he was perfect to play the part in the movie. Would you rather have David Hasselhoff reprising his Nick Fury role from the 1998 Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD movie?
  5. You make some very good points. If eBay didn't exist, I think that there would still be scalpers. I have a comic book shop nearby that sells Marvel Legends, GI Joe, etc. He has everything marked anywhere from $15-$60 (depending on the figure). If in the rare instance I sell something on eBay, I always list things at .01, and I don't put a reserve on it. I let the bidders dictate how much that figure is worth to them. Sometimes I lose money or make money. I never understood the whole grading of figures. Basically you are paying for someone's opinion on that figure. Just tell me if there are any flaws with the figure, I don't see why it should increase the price so much.
  6. Actually, that's exactly what I said when we saw Scarlet a few days ago. I am thinking the same thing. There are a couple of sites that have posted up some early script reviews. Caution!! Possible Spoilers: http://io9.com/382289/power+armor-vs-nano+...diers-in-gi-joe http://www.firstshowing.net/2008/04/23/gi-...uld-be-excited/ This seems like it is going to be very Sci-Fi. I don't know if I want a GI Joe movie with Joes in supersuits (with the ability to run faster, jump super-high, smash through walls, and shrug off bullets), Scarlett turning invisible, fights against robot ninjas, and Destro's mask being made up of nanites that Cobra essentially uses as mind control over him (it almost sounds like Bane from the Batman and Robin movie) For me personally, I hope that they change the script into something less Sci-Fi, but other people might like it.
  7. POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!! I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but today I was listening to Maxim radio and they had on Anthony Michael Hall as a guest who said that he has a part in the next Batman movie, he was on his way to Chicago after the interview. They asked him what part he is going to play, he said that he couldn't comment on it. A caller asked if he is going to play Edward Nigma, and he responded by saying that he "definitely can't talk about that."
  8. I have been wondering the same thing. Are they the same size as the cards that were used with the vintage GI Joe figures? If they are, then there are some star cases out there that could work.
  9. JJ Abrams told reporters at Comic Con that America needs their own "Godzilla". That was all that he would say about it. I am thinking it will be an original type of monster that later Japan will take and make crappy movies about.
  10. I placed my order on July 30th with an expected shipping date of July 31. I finally got the email that it shipped today August 2nd.
  11. Just to add some more info on Jazz. In the movie he is voiced by Darius McCrary aka Eddie Winslow from Family Matters.
