There is still a christmas item coming and they havent shown everything yet. I would be surprised if stridor / nighstalker arent allready in the making. With battle lion coming this year a lot believe clawdeen comes in 2015. same goes for the horses. If one comes this year than next year comes the other. Extendar got teased so rio blast will come in 2015.

I thought Blade would fall short when I heard about him, but I would try to scoop him up if I can.......wonder what else they're planning....I'm on the fence for Battle Lion but I wouldn't mind an ahem head..pack...need a new noggin for Clawful & a few of the others......Blade's style reminds me of Rexor & Thorgrim from Conan....wish the 4H studios would do some figs based on those 2....

I like Battle Lion...unexpected but a good choice.

I am not sure why they would make a beast that only has a few appearances in myp when there are other vintage beasts that should be made or are more desirable. I love myp He-man but Stridor would be cool for my fisto.

Because they are all about using existing tooling to death... and the excuse is the usual, "Well, the vintage line was all about reusing parts." Plus with the Battle Cat tooling being used yet again, it's a larger, pricier item... for maximum profit.

I'm cool with the lion head and tail, but wish it was Clawdeen they were making instead of Battle Lion. I mean the last time they reused the Battle Cat body was with the Griffin, which was ALSO a 200x character.

I would rather get a new horse instead of another cat. Arrow would be nice. :)

I agree with that but King Grayskull needs his mount to be complete.

I want a Stridor as well.

I guess maybe I'm one of the only ones who finds Battle Lion an excellent and obvious choice. As Triumph said, King Grayskull needs his mount.

As for Stridor, unless he gets a major re-design that makes him more like a horse and not a vehicle, I don't see it happening. And so few people have Fisto (compared to King Grayskull), and he's insanely expensive to acquire on the secondary market, so I don't see Stridor as that necessary. I'd still like to see him, but he doesn't make any more sense than a lot of beasts/vehicles in my mind.

Just because Fisto is in the holy grail status and so many fans got screwed out of him, doesn't make Stridor any less essential to the line. It's Mattel's fault that Fisto is so rare and expensive. Bottom line is the upcoming release of Battle Lion only works out for 200x fans. To everyone else, this is a waste of a beast slot... just like Griffin.

I am neither a POP fan or a New Adventures fan. In fact, New Adventures came out after I graduated high school and had other things going on in my life(Army).

I did however watch the 200X show and got the figures to that line.

As a 200X fan I should get a Battle Lion to offset all the POP and New Adventures items I couldn't careless about...

But King Grayskull isn't just a part of 200X. He's a big part of MOTUC in general. He was the first figure released, and I would guess he's on the top half of the most popular figures made to date. It's not like we're getting Marzo's beast/monster things or Spikor's porcupine steed (somebody needs to create that, by the way ;) ). It's King Grayskull, who's in the mythos right alongside Hordak and King Hsss.

And Mattel said they need to offset costs, and that's what Battle Lion does (just like the griffin, which was unexpected but really cool). Plus we're getting some 200X Battle Cat gear for him, which kills another bird with the same stone.

You're right that Fisto's scarcity is Mattel's fault (the jerks), but you can't really put Stridor in the same category as Battle Cat or Panthor. A lot of us had Stridor, but a lot of us had the Battle Ram and Attak Trak and Land Shark, too, and Stridor is more like a vehicle and thus not any more significant to me than any of those.

I guess it's all opinions, though.

KIng Grayskull was created to replace the concept of He-Ro... The REAL He-Ro, not the new Filmation concept. He-Ro is the true decedent of He-Man. With that said, 200x has no place in my canon or collection.

Battle lion may off set the costs blah blah blah... but all that business talk and rationale that Neitlich spews is just a bunch of horse sh_t. Clearly 200x is going to be getting a lot of love next year after we were told that vintage would be top priority... so again, just more lies.

If having a mostly old-tooling Battle Lion is part of what gets fans Extendar and Modulok next year, bring on the Battle Lion (especially if the armor can be swapped to Battle Cat). Plus it seems pretty obvious most of that tooling will get reused as Clawdeen in 2015.

Lol..."all the business stuff is just bull$**t!" Yeah, we all know Mattel is a company of infinite profit that never has to worry about business concerns at all! MotUC secretly has an unlimited tooling budget and Scott totally recycles old stuff just to screw with fans!

Mattel isn't as deprived of funds as much as they lead suckers like you to believe.

More lies I'll gladly welcome then.

Yup, you and millions of other fans welcome it. Which is why Mattel will never stop being pricks... because fans welcome it.

Yeah, that's only for the Millennium figures. I'd rather toss all the vintage updates into the garbage if we can get Millennium inspired figures.

I wouldn't go that far but every figure should have gotten the same treatment as Fisto... This would have easily made 200X and vintage fans happy...

Yeah, there's a reason why Fisto is so popular:

He fits the Venn Diagram perfectly for Vintage and/or 200X fans. Trap Jaw was another great release for similar reasons.

King Grayskull has a special place in my collection because he was the first MOTUC. I don't have any particularly large attachment to his mount, but damn it all, I'm totally stoked for the 200X Battle Cat that I'll make from Battle Lion's harvested armour.
