  1. Hamil is in the movie, Luke will be seen. Trust me.
  2. Han coming full circle and dying is almost a certainty. Him as a "believer" makes for good story telling, Him dying adds significant dramatic tension. Luke is *NOT* Kylo. Luke is gonna be like ANH Obi Wan and/or Yoda in this flick, the reclusive mystical mentor. I'd bet money on the main characters being connected, siblings/cousins/young playmates something like that.
  3. I've really enjoyed it so far. It felt pretty damned Star Wars-y. The animation is clean and the writing, while obviously for a younger audience, was smart and had some depth. The scene where Kanan "lets the cat outta the bag" was especially well done.
  4. It seems to me that the Locator tool on the website might be incorrectly listing the entire wave counts for the Boba Listing. I have been to several local Walgreens and found only one Boba even when the locater listed others. I've seem a few Vaders and Lukes and Chewies but only the one Boba.....
  5. Of course you don't see the comparisons just by looking at your movie list.......... Well, I don;t come here as often now as I used to so I guess I need to get caught up. I never said I don't *SEE* the comparisons, what I said was, I don't *UNDERSTAND*, as in I don't understand why someone would be caught up on comparing scene X from one movie to some other. These stories are rehashed, rebooted and retooled multiple times over and seeing similarities from scene to scene is to be expected, these ARE, after all, superheroes we are talking about. There's only so much that can be done in this genre. As for my list? I don;t understand great movie making because my faves are Marvel movies? As if my movie credentials would somehow be more robust if I listed Superman IV among the top 4? Please....... Batman Begins was great as was TDK, Sperman Returns was passable and GL? Come on now...... I love all comic flicks but I am a Marvel guy so my list would, of course, be skewed that way.
  6. Just read through the entire thread, a few thoughts..... ~Saw it last night with my 11 year olds, all 3 of us loved it. ~Ruffalo was the start of the film, he completely stole the show and, IMO, he is perfect because the acto needsto be more Banner than Hulk. I felt the same after seeing Tobey in the 1st Spider Man flick. ~Hulk's contol/no control was weird to me as well, but as was said earlier in the thread could have been frenzied by Loki or, perhaps being forced to change by some trauma/injury makes him go bezerker but, as he alluded to, status quo is him being in a constant angry mood, he can transform at will and if he does so, he is afforded control and some of his cognitive thought processes? ~I don't understand the negativity or comparisons to DC films.... As I recall, none of the Batman or Superman movies are without fault. And the notion that scenes/storylines are stolen from preceeding films? My only response is: And? These are comic movies, there are not that many unique ideas left, and in general Comics are a medium that is predicated on imitation. ~I loved Blade Trinity. Hannibal King alone was worth the price of admission. But then again, anything would have been beter than Blade 2. ~My list: Avengers IM Spidey X-Men: First Class
  7. I'm digging this fig as well. Easily the best of the bunch. Still not even remotely contemplating the Sub but a great reveal none-the-less
  8. Here's the first pack they did, I happened to get my hands on a pair of the Air Assaults http://www.kicksonfire.com/2007/11/06/nike-gi-joe-package-pack/ And more info/pics on the COBRA pack: http://www.nicekicks.com/2009/08/nike-gi-joe-pack/
  9. It's been available on DVD for several years...... http://www.bing.com/shopping/search?q=He-Man+%26+She-Ra+-+A+Christmas+Special+&mkt=en-US&FORM=BPFD
  10. I'm not a line completeist but I AM a character completeist. I buy Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Fire Fly, Flint..... and maybe acouple others..... So I do have the horrible habit of buying the 5 packs even if I only want 1/2 of the figs But, on the flip side, I can leave all the CCs and Dukes on the pegd and not feel bad about it.
  11. "HFE" = Hasbro Far East These are samples straight from the factory
