  1. Whaaaat? Wal-Mart? Dang. Have they been there long or did they just show up out of nowhere? Now I want to check mine every day instead of every few days.
  2. My bad, I went to your link, and then to make sure I got the original quote right I tried going to that article's source link at MovieFanatic and that's where there was a video -- but then I forgot I had left your original link. At that time the video was not working for me, but now it is. http://www.moviefanatic.com/videos/william-shatner-says-jj-abrams-is-a-pig/
  3. So...if the rest debut in the fall, the first figure will be SDCC, meaning nobody will know whether the line is any good or not yet but they'll be scrambling to get/scalp one anyway? Well, no use fooling myself, will probably pay whatever it takes. Can't not have carbonite Han. What if the line gets canceled before normal Han? @bomb@
  4. Video no longer working? I read (second hand) that the full Shat quote was: Just picture the never-quite-sure-if-serious-or-joking Shat saying the last sentence, and in this case I think he is being a comedian.
  5. Heads look pretty good to me (better than the vintage figures). What's so off about them? Admittedly you can't see Rocksteady's eyes from a frontal view... I think their toon heads are the kind that once you start trying to bring them to life in 3D, you discover all sorts of logistical problems. Violations of spatial realities. Easy to draw in 2D, where you can redefine the locations/sizes of things based on the profile angle and nobody will know better, not so easy to realize practically in 3D.
  6. Yep, that's him. Didn't get to his episode(s) yet. I have to admit, the original cartoon Rat King was one of my favorite figures -- and in one of my only figure-defacing (aka "custom"?) acts, I cut one of the plastic rats off of his shoulder so it could be played with independently. I liked the more colorful patchwork look of the original better than this...and of course the "roadkill" belt! Fortunately it does look like this one includes at least one disconnected rat accessory in addition to the ones sculpted on the figure.
  7. I built the lair on Sunday, pretty cool! I haven't bought a set of LEGOs since the late 90's when I was still in high school but how can you pass up TMNT LEGOs? You can't. The only thing better would be Star Trek (which is coming in KRE-O, but that's no LEGO!). I want to know if I did something wrong...my steps on the spiral staircase freely rotate back and forth... Is this how it is supposed to behave or did I miss something?
  8. Most seem to expect that they will. Case of 12 could be 2x each turtle, 2x each Bebop/Rocksteady...hopefully! That will probably make B&R harder to come by for many, but I'm all for it since I still need the turtles.
  9. ^^ Put me in the Baxter (fly) column. For some reason that excites me the most, maybe because I never had the original. But I guess Bebop & Rocksteady rank higher (no surprise). I'm kind of glad they didn't just default to Splinter/Shredder, whom I would have thought to be the more obvious choices.
  10. Left mine in the sunlight for a day, and it glowed fairly well.
