So let's see...

Will only be sold at conventions.

People at conventions will buy a whole bunch.

Same people will put them on ebay at astronomical prices.

Desperate fans who want to build armies of these will gladly hand over their money to the ebay scalpers.

Mattel doesn't care because they sold them all.

Scalpers don't care because they sold them all.

Everybody wins except the fans who can't make the cons, and can't afford to get screwed by resellers.

Brilliant!

these are rad! but i totally agree, why the heck would they make these a con exlusive and screw over so many of the fans who have been putting up with their crap to support the line? my gut is telling me that there will be some form of matty.com release. they'll probably change the chrome/silver bits to just grey plastic so that it differes from the exclusive version.

I would be very interested in these but I'm done fighting w/my F5 button.....these Robits are coolio but as far as Con-prices go I don't think I'll be getting them after-all.....I don't think MOTUC/Mattel really cares that they've lost out on our moneys.....Hasbro is very willing to take my money w/their Legends & Black lines.....#cherrypickerforlife #motucdoesntcareaboutcherrypickingpeople #mattelhas99problems&mymoneyisntone #nolilplasticrobitsmakesjackadullboy......guess my He-man will just keep beating up the one Horder Trooper pack I was lucky enough to get......broken record says if Mattel printed off more Horde Troopers I would be down for at least 3 packs....maybe 5....love those lil guys.....#whatwouldthehordedo?

Just finding out now that these are going to be sold for $35 plus tax/shipping. These are going to be nearly $50 when all is said and done. LOL! What a joke!

But this is how Mattel takes advantage of customers. They know these are fan demanded, and they know people are already planning to army build these. This is the thanks fans get for supporting the 200x sub. LOL!

You can't be really shocked about the price, right!?!

Mattel likes to over-charge....maybe to make up for falling sales on other lines?
