Decepticon - sorry that Justice League and this forum aren't my life, man. I'm a fan of Justice League - was reading posts and saw on toonzone.net that they had posted news about new Justice League episodes. Thought I'd post the good news here. It's guys like you that make guys like me just browsers and not posters. Enjoy your little world here.

Good news. December 4th at 8:30 new episodes start airing. Starts with Ultimatum.

Did this actually hit stands? I've tried 3 comic book stores in the area and none of them had this in - Did it sell out? It's quite frustrating.

I live in Providence, RI - one of the few places without the WB. And while Smallville is shown on UPN at 10 PM on Wednesdays, The Batman is nowhere to be found on TV here. Is it still going to be on Cartoon Netork in six months? Is there any place to download episodes? Thanks for the help

I'm a big fan of zipline, but I have to go with Hush. I really like zipline's sculpt and the fact that you can really feel the "weight" of his muscles (Even though it's a 6" plastic figure). But Hush's sculpt is almost as good, and his paint job (I'm a big fan of blue and grey) along with paint appication (Shiny black bat symbol) is excellent.

Anyone's Comic Shop Getting Hush Figs In Today ?
FerretsForeva replied to Nitro Junkie's topic in DC Comics
All the figures are great! DC Direct really did an excellent job with the whole first wave of this line - it makes me even more excited for wave 2. All of the comic book stores around me got them in, but most had only gotten a few figs in, so they were on reserve for the people who had pre-ordered them. I found one shop where this was not the case, but the figures were going quick, I got the last Joker and the Hushes were already gone when I got there. Hopefully, stores will be getting in another shipment next week. -
Right. Well U2 has nothing to do with Batman. However, the article is from Hotpress.com which is an entertainment site, and may infact know something about "The Batman". The article was merely posted on @U2. And since this is the first article that mentions what the new Batman show is like (or might be like), I thought it might be of interest.

Hey - I'm a U2 fan as well as a Batman fan and I was on the U2 site, @U2when I came across an article from hotpress.com that mentioned the new Batman show (Which the Edge is doing the theme song for). Anyway, here's the quote: "Due to premiere Stateside in the summer, the series reverts to the Adam West-style comedy Caped Crusader of the '60s with West returning in the role of Mayor Grange. Bruce Wayne -- now upgraded from millionaire to billionaire status -- is being played by Rino Ramano who's previously been heard but note seen in the cartoon versions of Spiderman, Ghostbusters and Men in Black." Now this is the first I've heard of the new Batman being compared to the campy 60s show. Is this true? Anyone heard anything like this? I'm hoping someone out there can disprove this. The artwork certainly doesn't look funny . . .

I think this line looks great! If they make a second series I would love to see Batman in the superman-bashin' armor that he sported at the end of that story... Look at me asking for a bat-vartiant...

Has anyone found these at Wal-Marts in Rhode Island or at any between Providence and Boston? If yes - where? Thanks, Mike

But we can blame Mattel six months from now when we can't get our hands on the Joker cus he comes one in every 3 boxes. Honestly, the worst thing about this news is that Mattel is doing this line, too. What about DC Direct? I kind of like the Joker. The best thing about Batman is the openess to interpretation. The animation won't bother me as long as this show is written well. The Joker and Mark Hamill from the Animated series was my favorite character, especially when written by Paul Dini. This series has a lot live up to. If this series stinks they better get the old ainmated series in a Box set pronto! Mike

I doubt Conroy is getting replaced on Justice League, but he's probably getting replaced for that new Batman show they're launching in the fall. I remember reading an interview with Paul Dini and he said something along the lines that "they" (Could that include Bruce Timm, too?) have nothing to do with the new Batman show. Besides a new voice, could there be completely different animation? I don't know, but this new Batman cartoon has me worried. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Mike

In the Animated Series, Hugo Strange was some kind of therapist/psychologist who learned Bruce Wayne was Batman by hooking him up to some kind of machine that read his thoughts. I can't remember why he was hooked up to the machine, but ultimately, Strange attempted to sell Batman's secret identity to the highest bidder (The Joker was in the episode, Two-Face, etc). But Batman foiled Strange's plan by having both Bruce Wayne and Batman (Robin on stilts, dressed as Batman) appearing together in front of Strange. Hugo Strange also had an appearance not too long ago in Batman: Gotham Knights. Anyway, I hope this helps. Mike

I was in a Suncaost video about 3 weeks ago in MA where I picked up a Superman/Batman 2 pack. The employee remarked on how quickly the batman figures had flown off the shelves and added that at the beginning of the week he had about 30 JL figures, where only one of which was a Hawkgirl. I've been back 2 more times, but no hawkgirl. However, the last time I was in I found the Batman/Nightwing 2 pack. I still have not been able to find any robin, though. All I see are Jokers - grrrr! Anyway, I guess there are a few Hawkgirls out there. Mike

The Walmart that's attached to the Rhode Island Mall in Warwick had just recieved a new shipment of Marvel Legends 3 this morning. The shelves were pretty packed with the new figures. Has anyone been able to find or seen the new 6" Batman figures from Mattel in the Providence/Boston area? I've been looking, but haven't had any luck. Thanks, Mike
