Oh my...he should have saved the $1,000.00 for bail money or legal fees. (lol) And I think I'd be changing that name back. Being named after ficional characters is like having a tattoo you might regret getting someday...it's a great conversational piece and it may be cool, that is until you get tired of it or outgrow it. Then it's embarassing. (lol) Changing your name back would be a whole lot less painful though, from what I hear. Y'know, a few years ago I was actually tempted to get either a small Autobot tattoo on my upper right arm, just above the bicep, or the little red symbol that's on Luke's X-Wing helmet. I never could go through with it though. I remain tattoo-free to this day, but they can look very cool.

I disagree - I am named after a fictional person (my parents had my brother named me). The name calling stopped around third or fourth grade. True that I recently went by a bizarre nickname, but that is because I missed the attention my name would give.

Oh no...that's not what I meant. It's one thing to have a given name from birth, but it's another thing entirely when fanatics decide to legally change their name to fictional characters they're into, like that one guy that had his name legally changed to Optimus Prime. I think it's ridiculous, to be quite honest. As a matter of fact, it's almost a slap in the face to one's parents when they do that, like "The name you guys gave me isn't cool enough, so I'm gonna change it. Never mind the fact it's been a part of who I am for most of my life." It's just a little extreme if you ask me.
