  1. Hey! The figures have a "multi-role" design...so they work GREAT in "sci-fi" roles. Here is the Night-Ops figure geared up with armor & different helmets. With the wide array of removable accessories and colors...you can virtually create a trooper for ANY universe! MJ
  2. Sorry dawg I won't be able to make this so I can't chill with you again. @grumpy@ @hmmm@ maybe MJ could enter the custom for me tho I think Aly had some one do the same for him last year. Thanks for the feedback guys I'm glad you all like the weapons and all. #US1# Sorry to here that! It was good times! You can send your custom(s) wit someone, Aly sent his wit his buddy 2 years in arow it shouldn't be a problem. Though I talked to mastercollector because I wanted to bring some stuff for Xhairs and Jfak075 and put them under their name and they said no the person has to be there! So if they say it is theirs it should be no problem! Will be happy to enter the "Gun-Runner" custom figure at the Con for you! Will display the figure with the gun case & several of the sling weapons. Will use your background story on the entry form (if I have time will make a custom tan bio card to display with the figure). Hopefully the judges appreciate "Gun-Runners!" Marauder John
  3. As Inggasson was so nice to point out, Marauder has the NCM rifle...which is SO VERY CLOSE to the Colonial Marine Pulse Rifle that only it's Momma could tell them apart! :-) So if you want the $15 figure just for the gun...might want to try an NCM rifle for $1. http://www.marauderinc.com/servlet/Detail?no=55 Thanks! Marauder_John
  4. Why should Cobra have all the fun! Here is a weapon set for Sgt. Slaughter & the Renegades (thanks to Talon on Joesightings for his suggestion): Sgt Slaughter: M60E3 and a Pump shotgun Mercer: NVR Viper-esque rifle (still has a little "cobra" in him!) and a Mac-10 Taurus: RPG and a M-16 with M-203 grenade launcher Red Dog: M-249 SAW and a SOCOM pistol Here is an image of the weapons with the "vintage" version of the figures and an image of the weapon set: Set will be value priced at $4.99 and available on the website and at the con. And as always, if this set doesn't meet your exact needs, will be delighted to customize the set per your requests! Marauder_John

  6. On the card art he is wearing an ammo belt of machine gun bullets and he has the "size" to tote the big M60....so the M60 could work well with him. Besides, always thought the Sarge needed a better weapon than a baton! DELIGHTED to swap out whatever weapon you like on the AUGMENT set....just clearly state your choices in your payment email/letter. Thanks for your support! Marauder_John
  7. Hey all! Again, thanks for all of the suggestion. Here is "final" version for the "AUGMENT Cobra's Most Wanted: Mercenaries Convention Set" Weapon Pack. The SKULL SQUAD TROOPERS, which are considered "down & dirty" fighters, are equipped with powerful and slightly "older" weapons. The 6 man team can take on any situation and appear to be more of a "direct & head" on attack team. Nothing sly about them...just overwhelming superior firepower. Each figure has a "main" weapon and then feature a powerful backup weapon which is the same for all team members: 1 Trooper armed with RPG Launcher with backup Mac10 submachine gun w/ silencer 2 Troopers armed with M60E3 Heavy Machine Gun with backup Mac10 Submachine Guns w/ silencers. 3 Troopers armed with AK-74 Assult Rifles with Grenade Launchers and backup Mac10 Submachine Guns w/ silencers. MAJOR BLUDD - Armed with Aug77 Assault Rifle (an Aussie favorite) and of course an Uzi (after all...he did write a poem about it!) The COBRA COIL TROOPERS are the elite "High Tech" squad. Envision them the "quick attack" special ops kind of troops. More like Cobra's version of the Seals. So they are equipped with the most modern & advanced weapons. As with the Skull Squad, each Coil Trooper has a "Main" weapon and then all share the same type backup weapon: 1 Trooper armed with M249 Saw with backup Socom pistol with silencer & laser sight. 2 Troopers armed with Sig550 Assault Rifle with Scope (can be snipers or "flip the switch" and be full auto) with backup Socom pistol with silencer & laser sight. 3 Troopers armed with HK G-36C Assualt Rifles with backup Socom pistol with silencer & laser sight OVERLORD - MP5K "Mini" Submachine Gun and the pump shotgun. Type of leader that lets his troops do the fighting, so a close-quarters submachine gun and sawed off shotgun (from his Crimson Guard days) fit just right. COBRA MORTAL - the "assassin" gets the high power Dragonov Sniper rifle (for the long range kill) and the high tech P90 Submachine Gun with silencer for the "up close & quiet" kill. Here is the picture of the weapon set. Skull squad on left, Coils in the middle and "Leaders" on far right (top to bottom: Bludd, Overlord & Mortal). Will make the set available on the site ASAP and will be available at the con. The 30 piece weapon set will be a special value price of $12.99. Although the final weapon selection was based on your requests, we will be happy to custom modify the set to meet your specific needs (we're here to please!). Marauder-John PS - what about a weapon set for Slaughter & the Renegades? Thinking an M60 for the sarge, and some of the US type weapons for his team (after all they will be in US style camo).
  8. Hey! First off, thanks for your order! Answered your specific questions about your order via email and took care of any issue, so we should be set! As for the HK G36C, as stated above, it is the "shorter" paratrooper version and is smaller than the standard G36. With the weapons, adhered to a strict 1:18 scale of the weapons. Some items appear a little smaller and some a little bigger, but that is how they are in real life (ie the Mac10 "appears" to have a large handle...but the real world Mac10 has a large handle). As for a weapon that has a slightly larger handle for your Cobra figures with "stretched out" hands, a good choice would be the Sig550, Ak74 w/ grenade launcher or either of the AK47 Assault Rifles (with wooden or folding stocks). Again, thanks for your order! Marauder_John
  9. Very good point! But looking at the 6 man squad as a "team", they need to have some slight variation of weapons to handle all situations. So they have the heavy gunner, snipers and 3 standard figures. Gave them all the same "backup" weapon to keep the team feel for the squad. Also, while this set looks like it will become the "official UnCon weapon set", would be DELIGHTED to "modify" the set you order to fit your needs. Want all the Coil figures to have the Sig550 or the G36...just let me know when ordering. We're here to please! Thanks for your support! Marauder-John
  10. Hey all! Thanks for all of the suggestions. Looked at all the posts and tried to "blend" the requests into the UnCon team set. It was tough trying to use as many of the weapon selection requests as possible and still keep within the theme of the set suggested from you all as well. Hopefully the attempt was successful. So here is the "proposed" set for the "AUGMENT Cobra's Most Wanted: Mercenaries Convention Set" Weapon Pack. Major Bludd- Armed with Aug77 Assault Rifle (an Aussie favorite) and of course an Uzi (after all...he did write a poem about it!) The Cobra Coil Troopers are the elite "High Tech" squad. Envision them the "quick attack" special ops kind of troops. More like Cobra's version of the Seals. So they are equipped with the most modern & advanced weapons. As with the Skull Squad, each Coil Trooper has a "Main" weapon and then all share the same type backup weapon: 1 Trooper armed with M249 Saw with backup MP5K "Mini" Submachine Gun 2 Troopers armed with Sig550 Assault Rifle with Scope (can be snipers or "flip the switch" and be full auto) with backup MP5K "Mini" Submachine Guns. 3 Troopers armed with HK G-36C Assualt Rifles with backup MP5K "Mini" Submachine Gun. Overlord- Armed with the "ultimate" modern P90 submachine Gun and the pump shotgun (if he is use to battling with close-quarters combat claws...a sawed off shotgun fits right in). Cobra Mortal- the "assassin" gets the high power Dragonov Sniper rifle (for the long range kill) and the Socom Pistol with silencer for the "up close & quiet" kill. Here is the picture of the weapons. Skull squad on left, Coils in the middle and "Leaders" on far right (top to bottom: Bludd, Overlord & Mortal). Like to know what you folks think. If there are any major objections, can look at the set again (or possibly offer "variations" of the set....uncon set 1A, uncon set 1B and uncon set 1C). The set will be a special value price of $12.99 (has an incredible 30 weapons with a "regular" retail of $25.90). Marauder-John
  11. Hey! The upcoming 2006 GI Joe Convention set is generating plenty of comments. Regardless of whether you like all the figures, or just some of them...they need their weapons AUGMENTED! So, how about some suggestions for an "AUGMENT Cobra's Most Wanted: Mercenaries Convention Set" Weapon Pack? There are 15 figures in the set. So choose ANY weapon from Marauder Series 1 & 2 and as many for each figure as you think appropriate. There are two squads: Maj Bludd & 6 Skull troopers, Overlord & 6 Cobra Coils and Cobra Mortal. Target retail for the "Augment" set is around $9.99, but might have to raise the price if there are an extra large number of weapons wanted for the set. The convention sets already costs over $200 each, so want to keep the "Augment set" affordable. Will keep the suggestions open for a while and will have the set available at the Con (and online). So if you have any suggestions, just post them. The items with the most appeal and fit in best with the figures & teams, will make up the official "unCon" set. Marauder-John PS Also, remember everyone is eligible for an additional FREE weapon, of YOUR choice, with EVERY Marauder order. To help make the choices easier, her is a list of all current Marauder "Gun-Runners" weapons: -M4 CARBINE -PUMP SHOTGUN -PULSE RIFLE -URBAN ASSAULT SUB-MACHINE GUN -DRAGONOV SNIPER RIFLE with BIPOD -AK-47 ASSAULT RIFLE with WOODEN STOCK -M-14 AUTOMATIC RIFLE with BIPOD -AK-47 ASSAULT RIFLE with FOLDING STOCK -M-14 AUTOMATIC RIFLE with BAYONET -AKS-74U ASSAULT RIFLE (Mini AK-47) -UZI SUB MACHINE-GUN -AUG77 Assault Rifle -HK- MP5 Submachine Gun -L85 (SA80) Assault Rifle -M249 SAW w/ Bipod & Removable Ammo Case -M60-E3 Heavy Machine Gun w/ Removable Ammo Case -P90 PDW "Personal Defense Weapon" -RPG Launcher -NVR Rifle -NCM Rifle -MODIFIED P38 Walther Automatic Pistol -SCI-FI Blaster -HK- MP5K "Mini" Submachine Gun -9mm Automatic Pistol -SIG550 Assault Rifle w/ "Double" Ammo clip & Scope -MAC-10 Sub-Machine Gun w/ Silencer -Thompson Sub-Machine gun "Tommy-Gun" w/ Removable Ammo Drum -AK-74 Assault Rifle w/ Grenade Launcher -M16 Assault Rifle w/ Grenade Launcher -M4 Carbine Assault Rifle w/ "Under" Shotgun -HK-G36C Assault Rifle -HK SOCOM “MARK23” Automotic Pistol w/ Silencer -Samurai Katana Sword
  12. Marauder "Gun-Runners" will be there! All registration forms submitted and reservations made. Haven't missed a con since 94, and this one just looks too cool! Once we all know what the "last" figure is in the convention package, will post a request for suggestions for a "Fix the Convention Package Weapon Set." Very much like the figures, but the guns could use a little attention... Marauder-John
  13. Hey Folks! Per your requests, just added a "Stargate SG1" weapon set, called the "Gate Explorer" set and a "Rescue" the Viper Lockdown weapon set. The "Gate" set consists of guns seen on the show and the "Rescue" set has weapons requested for the figures. Available on the website & ebay store. Also, since most folks on the Joe-boards that wanted a special gray set have done so, have added a description & picture of the set to the website and on ebay, so ANYONE that is interested in the set will NOW know what it is. Again, thank you for your support! Marauder-John
  14. Well I previously said that I was having trouble with the classic ARAH figures, Specifcly the Viper. The AKs look very cool with the ToysRUs Cobra infantry, do you collect the new ARAH or just the vintage figures? The new ones with the softer plastic all look and work awesome with these guns. Well Generalsjoes has some pictures with a few classic ARAH figures and he got the guns looking really good. I just have been having a hard time with the 86 Viper and the NVR rifle, that gun has a wider handle and its hard on some vipers that have a tight grip BUT anyways, I would recomend you buy some and try them out. You wont be dissapointed. Just be careful with those thumbs. I still LOVE these guns. By the way, GENERALSJOES would you mind posting a pic of the gray megatron gun, I really wanted to see that one in that color. THanks in advance. Hey Folks! Just to clarify a little, the NVR rifle was designed with vintage Viper in mind and the gun works quite well with the figure (and all the versions). Special attention was given to the pistol grip. The grip is a little "narrower" at the top of the grip, than at the bottom. Don't try to fit the grip into the hand by forcing the grip down into the hand, instead "slide" the "narrower" top part of the handle into opening between the figure's thumb & pointer finger. Customized the handle so the weapon looks good by itself (detailed handle & contours...wanted to avoid the "broom handle" appearance of the original) and looks good with figure holding the weapon. Had the prototype reworked several times to be sure the fit with the classic Viper (and all the figures from that tool & most other vintage figures) was good. Will post some pictures ASAP of vintage figures holding the weapon. Have placed the weapon in the hands of dozens of vintage figures, and have had no issues. The handle is the same thickness as the vintage weapon, but has a slight "flair" on the bottom of the grip and is narrower at the top of the grip to allow for the easy fit (unlike the vintage release that has the oversized handle with uniform thickness down the entire length). Thanks! Marauder -John
