  1. I just got the VvsV 7 Snake Eyes and I immediately chopped his head off to make MY perfect Snake Eyes. I love the additional articulation on the JvsC body and the more "heroic" proportions so I sliced the head off of the VvsV SE just above the "ball" joint ( taking a lil extra off so he wouldn't have giraffe neck ) and then glued it onto the JvsC SE neck ball, then it was as simple as painting it black and silver, very easy to do and I'm extremely pleased with the results, thanks for looking! - Industrial ( who is one of the few that liked JvsC better than VvsV )
  2. those are my words! here's my pic, but I've done away with that version and am currently working on making them more comic accurate (sans tailfeathers alltogether) like a few others have already done..... I'll take pics once I've finished the new one, I'm trying to keep as much movement as possible if not more...... -Industrial (who's never read a post before that was his but wasn't really his.....weird.....)
  3. Its a X-Men Classics Gambit figure, with Marvel legends Gambit arms, and a Silver Surfer neck and head, oh and the hands are from a Plan B figure so he can really grip his weapons....... and the kind words are really appreciated! -Industrial
  4. thanks for the comments guys, and to answer some of your questions in no specific order, yes it is my take on good ol' Wally West, I used Tamiya acrylics, and the wash was actually already on the DD figure, i actually used some acetone and a q-tip to lighten him up a bit while leaving the wash to define some muscles (s'why you see all that darn glare) , and as for Batman I'm dying to do one but still waiting for all the right pieces, hopefully i see some good uns at toyfair! -Industrial
  5. Flash is made out of a SC Daredevil figure with XC Cyclops boots, he's entirely playable with no worries of paint chipping! sorry for the glare, i gotta stop using the flash (no pun intended) on my camera -Industrial
  6. hey Hammerfel it's actually 6" not 12" and OCH22 plumbers epoxy putty hardens up fast, sometimes too fast, i used qwiksteel (from walmart) and it starts to harden in 15 minutes so you really hafta just get the basic shape then carve and sand it down...... and again, thanks for the kind words guys!! -Industrial
  7. Its the ML Silver Surfer neck and head, i sculpted the visor out of plumbers epoxy putty, thanks guys! -Industrial
  8. here's the old pic again to refresh your memory and the new updated pic with removeable vest from Plan B Special Forces, Timber from X2 Logan, and a bunch of weapons cast up for me from one of my friends..... thanks for looking!! -Industrial
  9. hey guys, been lurking in this forum for a while now, never had much to chime in with before but i wanted to get some feedback on some Joe customs i did, my section on my friends site should be up and running sometime soon but heres a peek at some stuff: Flint is one of my favorite characters so when I got his Hasbro figure I was sorely disappointed, so I took it upon myself to put together a good fig, he has JvsC Dusty head with Flints beret, Dusty’s torso, Duke’s arms and articulated ankle boots (yeah I love those), and Crosshairs waist and legs, and I gave him Destro’s shotgun to complete the original Flint’s look……. Hit N Run I never owned this figure as a kid but his design just looked so badass that I wanted to make a new version, hopefully Hasbro won’t put anything better out anytime soon, he has JvsC Blowtorch’s head, Crosshairs body with Dukes hands and articulated ankle boots (of course), I also gave him Crosshairs webgear painted black with some grenades added on, his helmet is a modified Duke Helmet with goggles and gun from BBI……. Shockwave is another one of my favorite characters (notice a trend here), man was I pissed when his doppleganger came out (WideScope=Blecch), so here’s my answer, Shockwave is a JvsC kamakura head, Duke’s Torso, lower arms, and articulated ankle boots (what were you expecting?), Snake Eyes upper arms, and waist and legs of JvsC Gung Ho (the second O-ring one duh). I gave him WideScope’s SWAT shield and he has both a removable helmet and baseball cap and yeah i like the nightforce colors……. and this here is my Snake Eye's custom in the Marvel Legends style, he was a XC Gambit body, with ML Gambits arms, sculpted head, and Plan B accessories...... let me know what you think! -Industrial
  10. Is it gone or do i just not have an updated link? thnx -Industrial
