With Joe-Con just around the corner, what questions do you guys want asked? Hasbro, Collector Club, comic/TV talent.. etc. Post them here and we'll see if we can comprise a list and get some of them answered.,

Please be civil about it though, ;)

what about the stands?

What (if any) Digital presence does Hasbro hope to have with Joe in the future?

I take it this means your going Joe? Hope to run into you.

The club has already said there will be a second FSS and I'm sure it will be formally announce at the Con. Several figures have also been said to have been revealed, though I'm not sure if those figures are just rumor or fan wishing.

Big Bear, NF Falcon and one other ( I forget) have already been confirmed for that FSS 2

I had read that Slice was also to be included, but I don't remember where and I don't see why since that 3 pack Red Ninja was close enough.

Those of us going should at least grab a beer...hope you guys can make it to the CFB meeting on Sat.

what time?

My bad, Sat. night after the casino dinner...usually right after the awards. Just look for the very large group in the lobby ( no idea where the meeting is until I get to the con and look around but the lobby is a good start) afterwards and join the fun. You can always look me up as im around, or you can ask over at the joedeclasified booth if Gary is there.

since we only saw a couple new figures at Toyfair, what else has the Hasbro Joe team been doing during the year-long hiatus?

any plans to release more of those 30th and/or POC figures from the concept case shown last year at JoeCon?

What , if any, are your plans for a GI joe television show? How do you plan to continue expanding the brand following the release of GI joe retaliation?

Well I think they really don't have any at this time. The Hub just released their schedule for 2013/2014 and no new Joe was on it, heck no old Joe was on it and I don't see Joe showing up anywhere else. I hate to say that Hasbro is mishandling Joe, but without a real TV presence or Video Game Presence Hasbro is really not going to tap into the demographic they want. Sure a good movie is great, but that's once every two to three years. Comics are great too, but when they aren't like anything else that is out there promoting the product (like say a movie or toys) your just confusing that "young" audience you're trying to reach. Adult collectors can only make a brand so successful, without that overpowering youth demographic the brand will just sort of become stagnant and gradually start to fade. A great example of this is Mattel's handling of Masters of the Universe. They have tried to bring it back and were finally able to with their MotU Classics online figure service. But after several years that's starting to fade and what else can they do but sit back and wait several more years and try again.

I agree with everything you said. I don't feel as though hasbro is utilizing GI joe to its fulles extent. It's almost as if they don't know what to do with it. They make a movie and through some toys out and see if it sticks. When it doesn't they try a web series, a cartoon and toys not really based on either. Without collectors GI joe would be Doa.

a lot of them have been fired. Seriously, What's on Joe mind has had several former designers etc. on. the rest have probably been doing micro force or have been shufflled around. I'm sure a few continued to work on new pitches, but who knows what will come next?
