So, the legends and mission line goes to the kids. 5 PoAs, kind of sad and I wish if they say it's to cut costs, they made them cheaper instead of still charging us $7-10 for them. I'm glad my son knows the difference in points of articualtion, lol.


SW Black seems like the collectors line. I'll get a 6" here or there, but not all of them. I don't understand why they just didn't stick with the vintage tagline, but I guess they have to change things up a bit.

I'm interested in some of those exclusives. I hope the Amazon one is the nice big Slave 1, that would be cool. Scanning crew pack like the Kmart ones... cool. Biggs Xwing.. nice, but I'm worried it'll be close to $100 now that the falcon is $250..

I'm wondering what they're doing with the Gunship. I can't wait to see pics of that. I hope it's a retool to be honest, but with all the added figs, I'm worried it'll be like the Boba Fett Battlepack and be up near $70-80.. and it's TRU.. so make it closer to $100, lol.

Its dumb to cut back. People wont buy them you will see. People are used to great articulation. Retail doesnt makes the difference and just sees star wars figures. Wwe did that once to cut back articulation to reduce the price. They are still everywhere and dont even sell for one euro. Mattel did it also with Batman dark knight rises and they dont sell either.

I agree with the Batman thing, we'll see how it goes with Star Wars though, You can't compare Batman and Star Wars when it comes to toys though, that's like trying to compare a Fiat and a Bently.



And to be fare, they're keeping a line out there for the collectors. So, we'll see.

At least it looks like R2 comes with all the bells and whistles. Now, if he DOES actually whistle, that will almost justify the $20. Beyond him and Yoda, I don't see myself getting any other figures at this height.

LOL at the latest 3 3/4" ceremony Luke. Featuring another all new head sculpt that doesn't look like Mark Hammil.

On the flip side, really happy with how the 6" Luke head sculpt looks. I hope in holds up in the final product.

the 6 inchers look AMAZING. I love the first wave and they are all must haves. I am even okay with Darth Maul's plastic/cloth combo. Glad they went with mostly plastic

the 3 3/4 inch "black" line looks dumb. I don't know why they are sticking with that old articulation. What is the point of the new label if the figures are going to be the same figures they have been releasing in the vintage line.

I agree. His eyes look too big, cartoony and "nice."

I'll still get him, as he's my favorite from this first wave, but his eyes are definitely off.

Unfortunately yes it is. There are even rumors that the 2013 wave (and Movie Heroes too) will only be released in Europe. It even sounds like the realistic Rex and Mace won't be released, which peeves me off. Rex was one of only five figures from the canceled Legacy Collection that I was truly interested in. There will still be realistic style CW figures in the Saga Legends line though.
