So now that both versions are out we thought we would ask you the consumer's which version you like better? The Mattel Zipline version or the DC Direct Hush version. Please feel free to elaborate on your reasons as to why you like one over the other, but remember that each person is entitled to their own opnion and that we ask you to respect the opnions of others as you would want them to respect yours.

I voted Zipline even though he's missing the elbow articulation. Things he has going for him:

1 - More natural facial expression

2 - Symbol on his chest looks better

3 - Better scaled with my other figs (not many DCD or McF)

4 - His hands are soft plastic so he can hold (or not hold) whatever he wants

5 - Cost. I'd rather have 4 or 5 of the Mattel figs than just Batman

6 - Black cape & cowl. Most important feature. Batman wears black!

I voted for the new Hush version for two reasons -- elbow articulation and more muscular legs. But Zipline is still a great figure and he's staying on my shelf even if I get the Hush version.

I like the Hush figure.. its really good and might become my first DC direct purchase. He looks like Batman should.. I definitely prefer the blue and grey classic look, and I like the plastic cape better.. now the only thing he needs is an oval around his Bat-Symbol!

I don't even like the Mattel batman figures, they are just pretty crappy compared to my other Superhero collection, Marvel Legends.

HUSH Batman even though Zipline Batman is cool :) HUSH Batman is more in scale with the other DCD figures and I can get a JLA set going now :)

Hush Batman.IMO Hush Bats is the best Batman figure ever.He has the perfect physique,The perfect face and expression and the best cape. The blue doesnt worry me 'cause its a dark blue not a 60's-70's bright blue.

Hush Bats is perfect....:)

Ok...of the two, the Hush Batman is the best. The only reason Hush beats out Zipline is the scale (more accurate to the rest of the DCD line). But for the best Batman figure ever, I'd have to say it's the Batman custom by Fire the Fly (found in the custom toys section of this website). It's a perfectly done mix of both of these figures. The right scale, best sculpt, and dark colors make this the Batman we all want to see mass-produced. This thing screams Toyfare exclusive (hey...you hear that Wizard Entertainment?)

I'm a big fan of zipline, but I have to go with Hush. I really like zipline's sculpt and the fact that you can really feel the "weight" of his muscles (Even though it's a 6" plastic figure). But Hush's sculpt is almost as good, and his paint job (I'm a big fan of blue and grey) along with paint appication (Shiny black bat symbol) is excellent.

I went with the 4 Horsemen Zipline Bats. Although they are 2 different styles and really shouldn't be compared to each other. I love them both, but they both do have flaws though.

Zipline Batman - He's a great sculpted figure. And he's in a great basic pose with the same amout (10 points)of articulation as the Hush Batman. But even without elbows Zipline's articulation is better. Because any figure this scale should have waist articulation and ball-jointed shoulders that have the range to make a 90 degree angle. But he does have his flaws... Batman should be in a blue & gray costume. (not black & gray) He should also have elbow articulation. And yes his feet are to big. But I voted for Zips because he's not pre-posed, has a better articulation and costs half the price.

Hush Bats - Is a great figure also. First off the scuplt is very good. He's got an elbows and a cool ball jointed neck. And he's blue & gray! But now for what's wrong with him. He'd have been great sculpt if not for the pre-posed left leg. I don't care what anybody says...nobody I know can stand in a stance like that and have the back of their thigh muscles twisted between their legs. If they could it would be uncomfortable. Also articulation even though he has elbows & the cool neck articulation. His shoulders are useless (Unless you want him in the Triple H stardown pose) No range of motion in them at all! And he doesn't have a waist or left forearm. Heck for a figure that costs $15 it should have at least 12-14 points of articulation. And not be pre-posed into a stance that I have to take a hair dryer to correct. Still he's a great figure to have in my collection.

But I feel that even with Zipline's flaws is a better figure then the Hush Bats with his flaws. They both have spaces on my shelves. And I'm glad they are both there.

The poll doesn't mention that we just have to go by sculpt.

Price: Hush-$15.00 and up Zipline-$7.99 Winner-Zipline

Head Sculpt: Hush-Batman doesn't wear lipstick. I also dislike the short ears. Zipline-Classic Batman. Winner-Zipline

Cape: Hush-Cowl looks better, but it's plastic. Zipline-Plastic cowl into cloth cape isn't my thing. 'but I love cloth capes. Winner-Zipline

Torso Sculpt: Hush-I like the less 'buss' look, but the symbol doesn't look right. Zipline-Dislike the buff look, but the symbol is the way I like it. Winner-Tie!

Arms: Hush-Elbow joints are a plus, but I don't like his glove spikes looking like strips. Zipline-Lack of elbow joints makes posing lame, but the spikes are perfect. Winner-Tie!

Crotch: Hush-I don't like the gold belt, and the lack of a 'belt' buckle only looks good on the Neal Adams Batman to me. Though his groin sculpt is nice. Zipline-My belt isn't as yellow as the picture shown, wonder why? Hulky pouches and belt buckle make this exactly like the No Man's Land belt. His flat t-crotch hurts him though. Winner-Zipline, because the crotch only matters to me if we're talking females. =)

Legs: Hush-High thighs are HUGE, granted Batman is athletic, but they just don't look right. Zipline-Leg's look fine to me. Winner-Zipline.

So to me, Zipline is the better deal and the better TOY.

i haven't seen the hush figure in person yet, and i'm still probably going to buy it, but for the LIFE of me i don't understand why they posed the left leg askew. there's no sensical reason to do that at all. also, the lack of waist and one wrist articulation is baffling. these joints wouldn't hurt sculpt at all. so while i'll have to wait to judge myself, and even then i'll still probably go with hush, i just can't see why they took what could have EASILY been a perfect figure and flawed it with senseless articulation omissions and a mind boggling pre-posed leg.
