Nice. I was never familiar with Extendar prior to seeing the pictures from NYCC this year, but now I understand what all the hub-bub was about. He's a really neat design.

Too bad his legs separate below the knee instead of above the knee like the vintage figure. It never FAILS!

Does anybody know when this figure is to be released?

Probably the second quarter of 2014.

It was below the knee on the vintage figure too, it was above the gold thing though, they probably did it below to help hide the seam on the new one.

I think you know what I meant... Post #414

The 4H should have made the whole boot shorter and the "gold thing" smaller, then there would be plenty of room in the joint area, which is why I believe they made the separation where they did.

Meh. Sometimes I think my limited exposure to MOTU in the '80s is a blessing because I'm stoked for this guy and have no complaints.

You know what's cool! When you extend vintage Extendor, he's about the size of a classics figure... but taller with his head extended. So imagine how tall the classics version will be when fully extended... AWESOME!

What good is a lance if you don't have a steed? Extendar needs Stridor... Fisto can walk. :)

I like him but still would have preferred Rio this coming year.

Pretty awesome. I'd say he came out almost perfect.

Sounds like June. Cause Flogg is July and Blade is April, with Scorpia in May.

We might just see the variant figure at toy fair and the August figure. Sounds like not much will be shown after toyfair until sdcc. But 2014 is looking better than this year.

Rio Blast is just truly an amazing figure. If Mattel screws him up for the classics line, I'm going to completely flip out.

Oh, don't exaggerate....I'm sure you'll still be your same old rational self if they "mess him up"...

And I'm sure if if they mess him up, you will gladly accept it and say, "better to have something than nothing." ... just like the rest of the herd.

I forced myself to watch the NYCC walkthrough starring the one and only Scott Neitlich... Extendar looked much better on video for some reason... I think he's gonna be great. Since I will display him with only his head extended, I'm not too bothered by the screw up in the boot separation area.
