buying a toy like this definitely beats spending money on statues. this is the way to go for a high collectible.

Riko on Sideshow Freaks board made a comparison. DX vs V1 vs Medicom

They definitely made the torso slimmer and he can look down at a better angle now

No do not ever sell the Original suit Batman !!! Hot Toys said they will never release it again @grumpy@ Very rare now.

I'm hoping DX Batman and the new Wolverine will be on display at Hot Toys booth at San Diego Comic-Con. I'll take lots of pics

HT hardly if never reissue their previous offerings so any HT figure you own won't be reissue, which is why the bootleg company Very Hot makes a killing with bootleg HT military gear.

I still prefer Medicom's suit to this one, but I've already got this pre-ordered. The accessories alone make the figure. Plus that angry frown face is awesome.

They need to smooth out the texture on his mask and soften the angles a little more

Here are movie scenes when he has the same expression

There are pics of the thriller1/6 but it may be a jpn only toy like the other one became when news of MJ death surfaced, so one in the states may have to pay a bunch for it

No, that's just a prototype version on display.

It should be noted that HT has said the suit in the official pictures and on the figures on display is the suit from the original TDK Batman they did, as the one they're making for the DX figure is still in development.

How on time is HT normally? I've never purchased anything from them, due to cost, but I had to pre-order this one. Does Q1 2010 mean January or February or March? I know it's impossible to determine but based on previously made figures is HT normally good with their release schedule? I gotta know so I can budget.

Usually when they give release date they mean Hong Kong. So it'll hit Hong Kong January and then hit US retail February

Thanks for the info! And thanks for the pics. Makes me even happier that I pre-ordered this.

Does anyone have any of their previous releases, like the Joker or the creepy cop? I assume the quality on these is pretty damn high but are they normally worth the cost?
