  1. I agree, it's going to be tough to buy anything the day these come out. Plus, the stands go on sale too. So it looks like I'm in for Trap Jaw, Battle Cat, and some stands. I have MAA, but the ankles are pretty loose so I'm going to try these stands first. It's not a big issue, he just needs some help standing.
  2. I think BA He-Man will go first. He's the only one I'm buying, since I already have Beast Man and I'm skipping Adora.
  3. I thought about this set, but I left them both behind. I went in looking for Bench Press and the Snow Serpent, which my local store STILL doesn't have. It's BS, man.
  4. I'm glad to see this price cut. At $6, these are the best value in the action figure aisle, and parents/gift givers will notice that this season. I wish WM would follow suit. I finally found some new figures when I was out-of-town this weekend, and had to pay $8 for the Paris Pursuit Baroness I found.
  5. 12back.com is a pretty good place, even with the crappy pics that really need to be updated.
  6. I don't see how they'll ever be able to pull off Mekaneck, Extendar or Dragstor, since those figures are so dependent on their action features, which Mattel has abolished in the Classics line. But I'm sure they'll figure something out. I know most people don't want Orko or Gwildor, but I personally can't wait for either one.
  7. Can't wait for Scare Glow. I never had the original version, and it sells for too much on ebay now, so I'll happily add this new one to my collection.
  8. I still like these figures. I can't count how many gold Sand-Vipers and Tele-Vipers I have due to those single packs from Dollar General. Some of the JvC stuff is still neat, and reminds me of a time where GI Joe wasn't a collector-only line. Hasbro was still trying to make stuff for kids at that point, and while I spent the entire time JvC was being made wishing for a line like the 25th, these do have their place in Joe history. That and the DTC line was some great stuff. The SAW Viper, Footloose, Low-Light, and Spirit are some of my favorite-ever Joes.
  9. This happens all the time at different WMs when the Star Wars line changes packaging. It just has to do with the managers of that department deciding to get rid of old stuff for new stuff. If only all toy dept. managers were as wise. My local WM recently did a reset and really cut back on room for toys. Kinda sucks, but I have to buy all of my SW toys on HasbroToyShop anyway, so screw 'em.
  10. Nuts. I was hoping this would be out before the new season started, since I still have yet to see the last three episodes.
  11. I remember them being taped to the vehicles as well. I remember buying the Rockslide and getting the Vol. 4 tape. There were other tapes, but they were also sold on their own at places like FYE for $10.
  12. Now THIS is awesome. I haven't bought any of the licensed Potato Heads, but I will have to get this set.
  13. All I've seen is the first wave and no Destro (LAME!) but I did get Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Baroness. I plan on hitting some stores after work tonight to see what's out there, TRU in particular since I already hit Target and the local WMs haven't set anything up yet.
  14. That was my opinion of the new TF flick- it was an OK TF movie, but would have been a great GI Joe movie.
  15. I had to buy U2 tickets through Live Nation. The fees were insulting. I've been dying to see U2 for years, and the fees almost made me not buy the tickets, they were so high.
