My first custom action figure in over a year, Captain Comet was one that I had been meaning to make for a long time now. As a little kid, I didn't know much about the character but I always dug his costume, particularly how he was portrayed on the covers of "The Secret Society of Supervillains".

Recipe:
Base body - DCUC Flash
Head - DCD Cosmic Boy (neck was cut off and adapted)
Collar - DCUC Orion (rounded with Apoxie Sculpt)
Shoulder straps - DCUC Orion's Astro Harness (pain in the butt)
Wrists & fists - ML Kraven (the added articulation allows him to hold his gun and have fists)
Belt - cut vinyl
Belt buckle - Apoxie Sculpt
Gun & holster - Plan B WWII figure (gun was modified with fodder)
Feet - DCUC Batman
Chest logo & lightning bolts - hand cut electric tape (pain in the butt)
With the exception of the Liquitex white paint, all of the other colors were custom mixed using Liquitex and Citadel paints.
