On a second look the picky side of me is alert to the fact on Two Face that there's no gaping hole in the left nostril, which the movie displayed clearly, or the jaw and chin bone sticking through his flesh. A minor gripe, the toy still looks great, but I wonder if this is something that will be corrected when the mass product ships or if it's as is. I'll still get one either way, overall the figure looks quite good.

I'm a little disappointed with the Echkart likeness on both Two-Face and Harvey Dent, but both are still sweet. It stinks Dent is a variant because I'm sure I won't find him and thus won't own him now, but at least they're not both variants. And that Joker might be the best figure of the line so far.

its pathetic that these have not been just littering the shelves for months now.

This is true. Somebody missed the boat on the biggest friggin' movie ever.

Yeah, Arron Echkart's likeliness just isn't there for Harvey or Two-face.

Seems like 4horsemen is pretty weak in sculping real life human faces. The only good was was Christian Bale(Unmasked Batman chase). The Ghoul Batman face was good too but Joker, Harvey ,Two-face just doesn't match up.

I'm glad they haven't come out yet. I had enough tracking down of DCUC figures/exclusives that I wouldn't want to worry about these including the chase Dent figure. The worst time for stuff to come out is Xmas. Then you have to deal with clueless shoppers who are just looking for the first thing they see that catches their eye and then they pick it up without knowing what they've stumbled upon. It is bad enough dealing with scalpers but then you throw in Xmas shoppers clogging the aisles and talk about a headache.

I'm perfectly satisfied that these along with DCUC wave 6 won't start hitting shelves until after Xmas when the toy aisles will have had time to settle down and return to their quieter pre-Black Friday selves.

In fact I'm still looking for a Fear Toxin Batman. If anyone can help

notice i did not say, i wish these were out. i said these should be LITTERING shelves. these figs have such a high demand and broad-base interest that there is no reason that these should not be as common and easy to find as Transformers Animated toys.

Yes it too bad that the popular stuff like the MM and DCUC aren't pegs deep. I'd love to walk into a store and find multiples of each figure with decent paint apps and correct parts which was the case years ago. You would see tons of Mattel figures on shelves and in almost every store allowing you to look through them for the best ones to purchase.

Instead I have to drag out completing my waves over months because I have to wait for these to creep into the stores one case at a time, pick up whatever I can because I'm too worried that I might not see them again and then hope I find some more to exchange for better ones. And another frustration is the fact that the chase figures esp with the MM are so hard to find one needs to have tons of these cases to come in just to increase the odds of finding an unmasked Batman or Fear Toxin.

Agreed these chases and there limited capacity is just silly. I still have not found either chase and I would love to find Harvey but I doubt I will be able to find him. But then again its almost like the whole line is a chase. Its still not easy to find Thugs while Batman is littering the pegs. I will prolly pass on Sonar Bats (he is basically just TDK Batman with white eyes and a couple of fleshy areas, waste of money) but the rest of the line I want.

Exactly. What happened to cases of figures with usually at least two of every character. Mattel sends out one case to one store every two or three months and each case only has one figure usually.

How do they expect us to get the DCUC variants or the MM chases if you are lucky enough to find maybe one or two cases total per wave or assortment. At least if you send several cases to a store with each restocking the chances are you'll find a chase although with Mattel's MM chase figures that is pushing it because I've personally gone through close to 50 unopened cases and found no chase figures.

Mattel has major issues that none of us know about. Whether they know it or not, they either can't produce enough figures, don't know to produce enough figures, or don't know who to ship to. But for a line based on a blockbuster movie to ship a few cases as they are is about the dumbest thing ever. But hey nothing about this line makes sense. Figures disappearing from shelves (recall?), no figures on the shelves during the opening weekend, wave 2 coming out two months after wave one, wave three coming out seven months after wave 2, and of course the Batpod being sold only through Target stores and being told it was on the shelves over a months before it started showing up. Bless those crazy cats at Mattel, whatever they are on they need to lower the dosage.
