  1. MOTUC Fans, Some villains are nothing buttrouble and our December Club Eternia Figure of the Month, Demo-Man, is anexcellent example. Thanks to a little misbehaving on his part, the shipment ofhis figures from the factory to our warehouse is delayed. Here’s what thismeans for our December 15th sale: If you are a Club Eterniasubscriber, we will stand by our commitment to ship your entire order in oneshipment, so subscription orders will not ship until Demo-Man™ is received atour warehouse. We expect that to happen sometime in early January. So, ifyou’re a subscriber only to Club Eternia, both Demo-Man™ and BattlegroundEvil-Lyn will ship together around the beginning of January. And if you have acombo subscription with Club Ecto-1, then Demo-Man, Battleground Evil-Lyn, andthe Ghostbusters 6″ Vigo figure will all ship together when Demo-Man becomesavailable. If you purchase Demo-Man atour regular monthly sale, any other products ordered along with him will beheld until he is received at our warehouse. If you want products other thanDemo-Man to ship right away, please purchase Demo-Man in one transaction andall other products in another transaction. On behalf of the team, weapologize for the delay. This is the first time we’ve had to delay shipment ona regular subscription item, but it’s the best way to ensure the product is thehighest quality possible. We think when you see the final Demo-Man figureyou’ll agree he was worth the wait.
  2. Theconversation between George Lucas and Steven Spielberg that initiated theprocess to create the film occurred while Lucas and Speilberg were making asand castle in Hawaii. Score Pace: 90 Plot: 70 Action: 95 Consistent Premise: 88 Script/Quotes: 64 Characters: 96 Acting: 87 Villain: 76 Body Count: 39 Time to First Dead Body: Babes: 72 Hunks: 86 Explosions: 35 Special Effects: 24 Stunts: 82 Ending: 74 Overall: 95+
  3. The latest Batman Black and White statue is based on this concept, designed by Cliff Chiang and sculpted by Paul Harding. The statue is limited to 3500, and is available now at most comic shops and online retailers.
  4. "butstill i would prefer it if they didn't made batman so clean cut and for massmarket exploitation. sure it may sell less but a more teenage and above onlyanimation would be awesome." You really don't know much about this show orseries do you? It has nothing to do with mass market appeal. It's called 'The Brave and The Bold'. Go read aTBaTB comic. It's campy, 'clean-cut', cheesey fun adventure. It's not dark andbrooding. If they made a TBaTB show that was dark andbrooding I'd be pissed. Batman's been around for a lil over 70 years. Andhe spent the better part of 3 whole decades being light campy fun. Even now, Batman isn't ALWAYS dark. PS. The Batman was a great show!
  5. Iremember him being generally sympathetic in John Carpenter's generallymisguided Village of theDamned, and I understand he does good work in Street Smart, a film more well-known for launching Morgan Freeman'scareer. Didn't he work on a critically-respected tele-movie reworking of Rear Window?
  6. The Indiana Jones series was the best series ever made, in my opinion. It was extremely fun and enjoyable to watch and it can be watched repeatedly, with no lesser joy. Harrison Ford as Indy is extremely charismatic, like HanSolo, but the character of Indiana for me has an essence that creates a morelikable character (modesty, I think) and by doing that, it creates a bettertrilogy for me, indeed surpassing the Original Star Wars Trilogy (don't get mewrong I love Star Wars as well). Raiders is such agreat film, containing some great action scenes (the Truck scene) and creatingIndiana Jones, which is the best adventure hero ever made, partly I think dueto Harrison Ford (I don't think these movies would have been as good with TomSelleck).
  7. I rememberseeing Superman as a kid at the cinemas. When the credits rolled at the endsome dude, who worked at the cinema, tried to impress everybody by walking upand down the aisles in a Superman suit. I still remember people saying"That's not him!" Thankfully we’re too cynical for that type ofass-clownery these days. As for Reeve he was a goodSuperman but I don’t remember ever seeing him in anything else.
