  1. I was all set to buy Leader-1 and CyKill, but decided not to at the last minute. The heads are my problem. Especially CyKill. I could live with Leader-1's, but CyKill is a no go for me. Way too anime inspired. So yeah, super disappointed about that.
  2. Why not just go with Takara's official MP Ultra Magnus? He's pretty great looking. I don't know much about Citizen Stack, but I remember hearing the guys of Radio Free Cybertron saying he's not that great... Well the KFC price is right.....I did check some reviews & it seems the Citizen Stack is ripe w/loose hinges & a few other issues....I think I'll wait till Takara has an sale.....thanks man Happy to help! Here's hoping you can find MPs on sale somewhere. They don't seem to go down in price too often. Not counting the fact Magnus is Japan only, so no American TRU sales to watch for.
  3. Seems like NECA and Mezco are pretty good at doing that these days.

  5. I need that NECA quarter scale TMNT Donatello in my life.
  6. So many awesome pics! As for my fave MP, as of now, it would have to be Prowl. I always loved the G1 toy and the MP version is basically that but adapted to today's toy-production possibilities. Granted, I haven't opened my MP Magnus, BB, Ironhide, Rodimus or Shockwave. So yeah, my choice could potentially change down the road. Also, good God, I neeed more time and shelf space!
  7. I used to do that as well. Space and cost made me go with G1, MP and 3rd party only. Cost in that I was buying everything, now only 3 lines. Only 3 lines, but it's the 3 most expensive ones Hopefully you still end up saving some money! Setting a monthly budget helped the most. Space still sucks, but thats because I have so many at this point. agreed. However, it's not easy sometimes setting a monthly budget with pre-orders. Especially importing the japanese MPs that need to be pre-ordered like 3 or 4 months ahead of time.
  8. I've looked around a bit and can't seem to find the toy sightings. Granted, the boards have changed since I've posted sightings, but now I can't find them at all. Did they move to somewhere I haven't looked or were they removed altogether? Thanks!

  10. Yep, same. Even the added articulation and guns in the Japanese version doesn't make it MP to me. It's just a classier version of Hasbro's Devastator. This looks amazing. I really, really hope it's official. Since I don't collect 3rd party figures, I won't be getting any of the great looking Megatrons that are coming out soon-ish. I'd be buying this one for sure when it comes out if it's Takara. Here's hoping!
  11. I used to collect every TF line Hasbro put out, but lately, I'm just going with MPs (most of them) and the Generations/Combiner Wars/Titans Return stuff. Extreme lack of shelf space is the culprit.
  12. I read somewhere that the Combiner Wars Devastator released last year was for all intents and purposes also considered by Hasbro as fitting in with the Masterpiece figures. I gotta say, I don't agree with that at all. Definitely not enough details/articulation to be considered MP...
  13. Why not just go with the Bluray version, if I may ask?
