  1. Amazon.com has the IDW trades for very reasonable prices. Less than $15 each, and free shipping if you buy two. The first four classic volumes are available there.
  2. I think it's a cool item, but the $35 for shipping (to Canada) is the deal killer for me. I may get one from ebay instead though.
  3. The guy playing Bludd, I don't know if he even meant to do it, but in this pic: He f-ing nailed it. Everything that character has ever meant to me right there. If they're making a sequel and Bludd's in it, they should give him the part, he could just stand there for 90 minutes making that stupid face and I'd watch it. Oh and the Cobra girls in the blue spandex, put them in the next movie too. And the girls from the Mattel Ghostbusters booth.
  4. I'd like to see Crazylegs and Fast Draw before Hasbro calls it quits.
  5. Oh, my, god. Becky, look at her butt. It is so big. *scoff* She looks like, one of those rap guys' girlfriends.
  6. I can almost see the prototype NOW.... "One ringy-dingy! Two ringy dingies!" I would buy a Lily Tomlin action figure. In a heartbeat. Or a store.
  7. Would anyone be willing to help a collector from Canada? The Target UBPs are usually only available up here either through ebay, fellow Canadian collectors that have visited the USA, or sympathetic collectors from the US who will buy and ship. I'm low on contacts for the latter two options, but am hoping someone will take pity on me and help me out. I only collect figures, so if someone picked up a set and just wanted the vehicles, I would take all the figures off their hands (with file cards, weapons, stands). I'll pay the full price for the set, but you can keep the vehicles. If this sounds agreeable to someone, drop me a line. Thanks! Dan
  8. Same deal out here in Edmonton, canprime. The five packs and SROs (and TIEs for that matter) have gone the same way. You might find an odd one here or there but nothing like what was around before Christmas.

    Target Sale

So basically as soon as the new planogram is implemented, the big stuff is out the door. That's why we don't hear about the Rattlers and Conquests being marked down so much compared to the UBP. I can see the reasoning behind it, if not the logic. Thanks for the intel.

    Target Sale

Hey Wheeljack35, is it standard procedure for Target to move this type of thing to clearance so quickly? From what I can glean, the UBP came out in early/mid November, which by my calculations is just over three months ago. That sure doesn't give it much time to sell at full retail before marking it down, especially as drastically as it has been. Are they that desperate to clear it out, or do most things get the same treatment? (I understand if you don't want to discuss this as most stores have a policy regarding this type of thing.)

I thought it was worth it at full retail! Way to get them deals fellas!
  12. And Big Boa has a book club. Raptor? Bakes cookies. And Dr. Mindbender and Crystal Ball always have special vacations in which a bunch of Cobra soldiers get to go to summer camp. I really hope the movie is like that. It would be the feel good hit of the summer.
  13. To paraphrase Jack Handey: It’s sad that an entire family can be torn apart by something as simple as a G.I. Joe movie...or a pack of wild dogs...
