Hec-Tor Kur still leaves a little to be desired, but I almost have more of a problem with him being "second born heir" to the Horde Empire. If they try to bring in Horde Prime or anything similar, it will diminish Hordak's significance even more than has already been done.
Someone's son = diminished
Someone's younger brother = diminished even more
Answers to someone (like Horde Prime) = insanely diminished
In this scenario, he's gone from evil being that just existed to rule planets (how we used to know him) to a powerful lackey. And that doesn't fly.

l disagree since I have been lookin at wikipedia and discovered that there were a few episodes to suggest that Horde Prime is Hordak's brother. In one off the episodes, Zed refers Hordak as Uncle whereas in The Peril of Whispering Woods, Prince Zed refers himself as Nephew in a letter addressed to Hordak. I don't think the card backing diminished Hordak even more, but rather clarifyin the debate wheather or not Prime is his sibling, which now seems to be confirmed.

I think it clarified things, too, but I just don't like how they clarified them.
I don't like the idea of Horde Prime, so if he exists in MOTUC, I'm not a fan of the idea. I believe Horde Prime might be a Filmation-only concept, though, which would mean it can't be in MOTUC anyway.
I just think Hordak shouldn't answer to anyone. If he's existed for centuries and is as much of a threat as he's said to be, he should be his own boss.

Someone on He-Man.org pointed out that since Hordak is up there with He-Man and Skeletor that that means Mattel will anticipate the huge market for him and make more than the other figures (He-Man and Skeletor supposedly were each produced in greater quantities).
This makes sense to me, and I hope it's true. There are lots of people who will want him, so I hope Mattel anticipated that and produced more than they did of Stratos, Beast Man, and the second-tier characters.

If you hate it so much, stop collecting and find something you actually enjoy instead of making yourself miserable. Unless you're a masochist, then I can think of a few more satisfying ways to get your jollies. Both for yourself and others.

This is a productive post...
Who said anything about "hating it so much"?
And I'd like to suggest that if you don't like opinions that differ from your own, you might try avoiding internet message boards and finding some other way to get your jollies.
