  1. Actually it's the exact opposite of your reasoning.....Jigsaw actually did wear the pieced together Jigsaw-Punisher suit after the Punisher was (fake) executed in Punisher v3 #2. Jigsaw ran around killing everybody that was involved in Frank's trial/execution since he felt they'd robbed him of his destiny to kill Frank. This was during one of the worse later runs of Punisher. Jigsaw has never worn a white suit like that in the comics though....and he's usually portrayed as a big burly guy with thuggsh clothing so the regular version is much more comic-accurate since it's something he actually wore, no matter how goofy it is. I'd get the regular pack instead of the variant if you're that into comic accuracy....since the Punisher in that set with the classic head and modern costume looks all off as well. The white Scarface suit Jigsaw does look pretty cool though, even if it is entirely innacurate.
  2. HML Distribution's been great in my area. There were tons of HML1 that came in, but only Target managed to sell them because they got em first, whereas Walmart had their pegs cleared by vendors even though they ordered easily twice as much stock. HML2 started here with KB and they managed to get at least 5 cases in within the first month people started seeing these. I found a few Thors there but I already had mine since before I moved up here a few months back. The Walmarts around here seem to have gotten 4-6 cases apiece based on how many pegwarmers have shown since HML1 was cleared out though. I found a Thor there but didn't need it, the things go really fast though and he's the only one that never hangs around for a day. I think the Targets around here each got a few cases as well, but they've been hanging on to a lot of pegwarmers. It might seem like distribution sucks, but if your store has a ton of Jeans then that means your store got a ton of cases since they're all single-packs. Seems like demand is really high on some figures, which makes it sort of hard with the even casepacks everyone was demanding some of the more popular characters are getting fairly hard to find.
  3. That's easily the most organized looking MOC collection I've ever seen that's actually had everything out for display instead of stuffed into boxes. Really impressive....though i'd never be able to keep everything unopened like that. I'm guessing she's the one that shelled out $1300 for those Fantastic Four movie figs? That's dedication.
  4. Urgh....looks like I'll be buying the regular release and just upscaling it on my PS3. I'll buy it again on Blu-Ray when that format eventually wins out though. Buying Paramount/Dreamworks out is probably the last ditch effort by HD-DVD to dig out of its current hole. I can't imagine that with Blu-Ray getting the major industry support this coming season and their current 2:1 sales over HD-DVD that it won't come out on top with consumers in the end. As a techie the Blu-Ray has that much more storage capacity and I'd hate to see that sort of potential die just because they cost a little more to produce while the industry catches up. That'd be like if VCDs took over our market because they cost less to produce than DVDs.
  5. Eh, not super stoked about this line. The lineup of characters looks great, but the only one I have any interest in is Clayface since he's the only original sculpt. Nightwing, and Bruce Wayne are just straight up rehashes of the Mattel releases (wish even notably worse paint schemes this time), Joker's just redone with some new and useless accessories, and Catwoman looks to be reusing the Batgirl body with a few new parts. Clayface is the only original sculpt in this set an if Catwoman weren't a necessity I'd probably only buy him. I would've bought a plain Bruce Wayne without any gimmick though. Hopefully Mattel doesn't treat the DCUC line this way, but DCSH was like this since series 4 with the blatant rehashing and maybe a single new figure in the case. The last wave was all rehashes! Clark-Two Face, Barb-Cassie Batgirl, Camo Bane, KS Bats....literally just 3 new heads, 2 hands, and a tommygun in the entire set. At least it looks like we'll be getting that awesome Clayface though. I'm always up for new sculpts like him and Mongul.
