  1. I guess I'm alone in flat out preferring the Public Enemies figure. I love McGuinness' style and his is the first style the big 7 will all be released as a matching set in. Also, Batman wears black. Screw all you Jim Lee fans.
  2. Your logic is kinda backwards there. The comic doesn't have to capture anything. It's the original. I'm waiting on the Director's Cut DVD and will just live with my pirated version until then.
  3. If I were the actor who played the Captain guy I'd try to sue the toy makers for implying that their toys carried my likeness. WOW! Those are some horrible sculpts.

Hey! I post on occasion. I don't post in here much since I'm pretty much collecting stuff that I can only find online now (Street Fighter and MotU) and anything I do see in stores has been spotted already or is missing (finding new waves of Spider-Man with all the villains gone, for example)
  5. While the stactions are in a different scale than the Mattel figures, I don't think anybody in wave 1 is too badly out of scale with them. And as more waves are added in, the varying heights will make the collection look better. Hordak is taller, but still gaunt, which is how he was portrayed. Clawful is straight up huge and Snout Spout is the same size as everyone else so far. I'm more concerned that someone like Clamp Champ could be a head taller than all the other 'human' figures. Let the monsters be montsrous. That said, the only previous Mattel figures I would rebuy properly scaled are Whiplash, Trapjaw, the General and maybe Skeletor, but only if his paintjob really impresses me. Oh, and Mossman, but that's not a scale issue.
  6. Things I'd like to see: more McGuiness styled Leaguers
  7. You mean the ONLY representations at the moment.
  8. Buy them. Articulate them. You'll learn something, have fun doing it, and end up with a superior piece.
  9. A well done custom on the technical side of things, but I just can't like it because the jacket he's wearing is a terrible fit. There's no way that millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne would be caught dead in a suit that fit like an onion sack.
  10. I really like Kylie Minogue and take a lot of flak for it from pretty much all of my friends, who have quite variegated taste in music. The one common thread between all of them seems to be not liking Kylie.

  12. Well, I wasn't going to buy the stactions, but I headed on over to the org to check out the process and how difficult it was. There's now a set on their way to my house. I'm gonna have a Sorceress action figure. <3
  13. Viper Hunter missed the point. Shock!
