Let's do a wish list: 2015!

Here's what I would throw down money for. All Marvel Legends, btw:

movie Falcon- The MS version is sweet but it would be way out of scale with all my other stuff.

movie Nebula

movie Ronin (can you tell I like movie figures?)

movie Mandarin- just put it out already! (Half the reason I like this guy is because it makes fanboys furious and I love that stuff. The other half is because Kingsley portrayed him so great)

Firestar- just because I want to have Spider-Man and his amazing friends complete. This would be an easy make for Hasbro.

first appearance Storm- I'll be calling for this one every year until it gets done. It would complete my X-Men figures

Also, this is the first year I won't be calling for a classic Jubilee. Because I'm so happy with my custom. Shameless plug

What do you want?

As long as they use the new bucks that we're seeing in the Infinite Series lines, I basically want everybody.

As for my shortlist:

Comic Black Widow

Mockingbird

Modern Falcon

Fantastic Four in their Neo-Classic Blue and Whites (with a fully ignited Human Torch)

Jim Lee X-Men

I'll agree with the Jim Lee wants, but I'd also like to see:

X-Men 2099 figures-I'm not sure the comic was all that great, but I loved the concept behind it...an unusual rag-tag group of future X-Men with bizarre powers, even for mutants. I guess I liked the concept and some of the designs more than the actual comic.

Punisher 2099-Again...great design, so-so comic.

AOU Legends-It speaks for itself.

And...there's something else I'd like to see Hasbro do, even if it would be them ripping-off another company's idea; I'd like them do a series of collector-oriented figures based on the artwork of specific artists like what DC Collectibles is doing with their Designer series. That would be all-kinds of awesome.

  • 2 weeks later...

According to various recent news, most of my wants are being made. However, I could think of a few more I'd really like to see as legends:

Moon Knight (using parts of the Nova body and the Bucky body)

Nightcrawler (an update)

Havok (from Uncanny Avengers)

Wonder Man (see above, especially if Grim Reaper is coming)

More villains, especially females

Cable (to complement the awesome Stryfe we got)

and finally, the legends figure I've always wanted but doubt will ever be made- Xman.

But most importantly, I hope tey never again use the 45 degree hips on figures. The Winter Soldier, Agent Venom, and Ultimate Captain America figures would all be perfect if not for that one detail.

A more articulated 4" Avengers: Age Of Ultron line. For the approx. 2.5" line, they have some 2 packs that come with a little Ultron Drone. Make me wish they did the same thing if they did a well articulated 4" line, and have the Ultron Drones either be smaller drones, or be 4" but have Zero Articulation or very minimum 5 POA. At least, that would probably be better than some giant missile or weapon launcher/grappling hook/whatever launcher, or Mech Tech transforming inspired type weapons they have been doing the last little while for the 4" Movie lines. This way, when someone buys a 4" Avengers figure, the hero will have a enemy to battle, and if they buy a few Avengers figures, they will army build a little army of Ultron drones to fight against(Ultron himself could still come with a minion drone). A neat little value for kids and parents if they were to buy as well.

Kind of gives it that old 5" Kenner The Real Ghostbusters feel to it, where all the figures of the Ghostbusters themselves came with a little ghost for them to battle against(Or if you want another line to compare with, the Jurassic Park toys where the humans always come with a little dino figurine for the human to battle against. Granted, in Jurassic Park line, those dinos were not in scale, but the effect/value is still there).

Oh, and the new Quinjet for the 4" figures, because I love that design better than the 1st movie's Quinjet. Just awesome looking.

Two more figures I would take (and they're probably pretty likely to make) are Falcon Cap and female Thor. Falcon Cap especially. He would just look great next to Steve and Bucky Cap.

I know the real versions of these characters will make their triumphant returns just in time for Avengers 2 but still....I'm betting they'd make for good action figures.

Actually joebro, that reminds me- we really do need a movie Falcon figure, and a comic update would be nice too. Also, good picks with Graviton and Count Nefaria, KEWOOSKI. With so much Avengers love lately, these two longtime Avengers villain should each get a figure.

The new Agent Coulson figure got me thinking about a "men in suits" 3-pack: Xavier in hover chair, Matt Murdock, attorney at law (in grey suit), and billionaire industrialist Tony Stark in a dark suit. I'd throw my money at that.
