Wow, thats awful and creepy looking........I can see it being just as ridiculous with the chrome added. So sad......

I don't know what Hasbro is trying to accomplish with these exclusives......I can see the Destro one, but what are they trying to do with the 12 inch Baroness????

I like RAH....thats what started me as a collector, that's what I had as a kid........I really do not like the 12 inch stuff. I respect it.....for what it is......but I have never had any kind of urge to pick up 12 inch stuff.

From what I've seen a lot of other collectors feel the same way, (that are exclusively being 3 3/4 inch collectors) Doesn't Hasbro know their fans??? The movie was based off the 80's line for the reason of targeting the 25-30 year olds that grew up with it, so they change the scale for a exclusive, Bizarre. For a company that has been hitting home runs for the last 6-12 months it really doesn't make sense??

There are a lot of Real American hero fans that collect 1:6. I mean, the duke 1/6 durin the RAH line was a popular toy. I wouldn't neccessary believe Hasbro changed sizes on us because for the previous con, we gotten a regular 3.75 toy as well as a variant. This year, we get two 3.75 toys together, which I assume the second being a redeco and the baroness. Imo, it looks as if Hasbro added a fig rahter than replacing one series for another.

1/6 collectors get screwed for Hasbro not making as much 1/6 figures whereas they mostly make smaller joes.

I completely gave up on con. exclusives.
There is always some debacle over availability. None for me, thanks.

Not just availability, but because of the "exclusive" nature, they are hella-expensive when they are available. Look at all the complains about Classics Thrust and Dirge.

Previous sets like the Crimson one, for example, sure people wanted it but they weren't exactly "must haves". What I mean is, I'd like to have, again, Classics Thrust to continue the example, since I don't have one (or a way of getting one "normally"). But I can do without the twins/baroness/Vipers in red. There isn't anything special/unique enough about them, for me, to want to get them. I already have them.

At least with these guys, if they ARE just repaints of Destro and Baroness (or a M.A.R.S. trooper or Iron Grenadier or something), no big deal. But if it was Darklon or Voltar or someone, I'd be pretty pissed.

Well I for one am damn excited to see a 12" Baroness. It is a slight shame it is not a comic version, but I don't mind that much.

Now if I can just get a 12" Scarlett in the regular movie line I will be one happy collector.

Could it be that this Destro will be mass released and that it's just this paint scheme that will be exclusive? No matter what I can see Hasbro offering this mold up again for a various other figures. Tomax and Xamot in suit being the first couple.
