I watched it late when I got home from work last night, and am going to have to watch it again because my initial response was "it was ok". I did like seeing the Mon Calamari and the Quarren. Captain Ackbar was awesome of course! However I felt the story was lacking something. I don't know...I can't quite put my finger on it.

Well I'm gonna go watch this thing again just to make sure. ;)

While I kind of liked it, I am not 100% how much I liked it. The Quarren Isolation League and is leader Tikkes were founding members of the CIS (Tikkes was killed by Vader on Mustafar). Exiled Quarrens built numerous ships for the CIS, most famously The Malevolence. Just seems weird Dooku would so BLATENTLY betray the Quarren like that. Doesn't seem his style as he strikes me as more subtle than that.

I am wondering how exactly the majority of Quarren seemingly ally with the Mon Calimar and recognize Lee-Char as their king effects the League in the grand scheme of the galaxy? I mean the Quarren Isolation League could be that sort of extremist group sort of thing. I don't know. Kinda weird that they weren't added into the arc.

a classic nod to Jaws there was also music simmilar to the jaws theme in a couple scenes where Tamson attacks. a weird Idea for a weapon an explosive knife guess that's the Mon Calamari's version of a semtex device

Well they do kill off a character from The Phantom Menace and who thought you would ever see Jar Jar and General Grevious in the same scene

I really didn't think they'd "sacrifice" that character. I still can't believe they actually have some of the death scenes they do have in this series, since it is more for the kids. Anyways, the sacrifice was made worthless since they traded prisoners. He died for nothing.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. A little dark for kids, but good over all.

I hate how the clones treated Threepio. It looked like they were more like the Imperial Stormtroopers then the Republic Clones that they are

well they have been fighting droids for awhile now it's possible they have developed some racism towards droids simmilar to how americans became hostile to people of Japanese decent during world war 2
