  1. Here's a new video looking at Wicked Cool Toy's/Jazwares AEW Unrivaled Collection Cody Rhodes figure. I really like this new line. I've been collecting the Mattel Elites for over 10 years, collecting the Jakks figures for close to 20 and this is a fresh take on some rasslin' figures. The flesh tone is a little pale, but Jazwares has said they are already looking into fixing that. My favorite points, the torso joint, tons of possible moves and the double hinged elbows, again, leading to tons of moves for fig photography. I'd like to see stands if they're going to use an odd foot peg size like they do, other than that, the sculpt work, the articulation and the paint on the tights are up to par with anything that is out there today.
  2. Here is a new video unboxing & review I did for the Spin Master Batman 4" Series 2 figures. I'm in the middle of redoing my toy room and area where I film, so I wasn't able to take close up shots, but when I get it put back together, I'll add them here. I also added Nightwing and Killer Croc 3-pack as it seemed silly to do a separate video for those. As with my last review, I really like these as toys... they're great for kids, a little too kiddy... but love the articulation they have and that they're not just 5 PoA statues. They still need to work out some bugs, like the heads and neck joints, hopefully those get worked on in future waves. Overall, a solid wave, love the obscure characters they use and can't wait for more(spoiler... I already found some of wave 3, when I get the rest, I'll do videos of them too).
  3. It's weird that I'm friends with half the people that worked on this book. Cant wait to get mine!!! Hopefully get a few to sign it too.
  4. Yes, but without a media tie-in he cant get stores to put 4 feet of pegs full Spawn figures... this isn't 1995 anymore, they all want some sort of guarantee the stuff will sell. Hence why Spawn was tied to Mortal Kombat... hopefully this will succeed and he cam show people want Spawn figures.
  5. Oh man... these have me drooling, really hope this takes off like the Fortnite figures! Let me know if you get any "samples" to review Jay!! I can help, have Halo from Joyride, McFarlane and Mattel, prob over 100 figures in all.
  6. Join me today looking at the New 40th Anniversary Empire Strikes Back Bespin Luke Skywalker Black Series Figure. I got this figure from a local store in the midwest called Meijer. I'm hoping to get the rest little by little the next few weeks. Please enjoy the review and the pictues.
  7. Hey all, here is a new video I did recently for the Spin Master Batman 4" figures. I got these last week but having health issues and then computer issues, it took a while to get it uploaded. Please check out the video. I'll also add all my pictures to this post if that's more your thing. Overall, I really like this line, but it does have it's flaws. One, it's made for kids, and opening up the package, you can tell with some of the soft sculpts, clunky looking figures and oversized weapons and accessories. But almost all that I expected going in. I wasn't sure if I was going to get these, but seeing them in the store, being a life long Batman fan, I had to add them to my collection. I actually like the look a little and they're growing on me. I do hope they continue to tinker with the figures, I'd like to see waist articulation and at least some sort of swivel wrist and ankles. If not, I get it, but I fell those could really help with the posing of these figures. I hope they keep up with this line and at a $8 price point, it's a nice change walking out of the store with a handful of figures and not paying the regular $10-$15 a figure price. I think that alone will help these succeed. I did see JayC share the DC figures, so it'll be nice to also add some of those to my shelves. Also, my friend let me know he got me the Walmart exclusive Killer Croc 3-pack, so expect that review in the coming weeks. Please enjoy the video and pictures and let me know what you think.
  8. Funded at $130,897... It was pretty wild at the end, I think it went up to 132,000 at one time. I think people adjusting their pledges as it got towards the end (I had to do the same, as I was relying on my toy sales to fund it and had a snafu with an overseas buyer I had to refund, ). One good thing, Bobby posted in the kickstarter... "As the final minutes tick down I wanted to give everyone a heads up that during the CrowdOx Survey, stretch goals will still be able to be unlocked. If the SWARM Trooper does not get unlocked tonight, it will during the survey. Keep the pledges coming. There will be more pledges coming next weekend during NJCC as well!" so, the good news, stuff can still be unlocked!
  9. Just announced... Swarm trooper and Kerak swapped, the next stretch goal is now Swarm trooper!
  10. This next video is extra special to me, because not only am I helping one friend, but two. If you didn't know about the 6" military action figure line by Bobby Vala that is on Kickstarter right now, stop what you're doing and go check it out... I'll wait. http://kck.st/35OFx8n In all seriousness though. It was an honor to be able to play around with some one of a kind, resin cast prototypes for this line. I've included a number of pictures I took while I did the review, please also check out the video as at the end, I get to sit down with one of my best friend's, Bill Nedrow. We talk a little about the web comics he is writing for Vala's Action Force. Keep in mind, these are resin prototypes and they are printed at 104% to scale. So in the comparison pictures, they will look a little big, that is by design, as they will shrink when the molds are cut for production. If the name Action Force sounds familiar to you, it's not the Action Force from the UK that you're thinking of. Hasbro used to own the name, but left the copyright alone and while Bobby was shopping around for a name for his 6" military line, he saw that it was available and now, he is the proud owner of the name Action Force. He created his own universe for the Action Force, and you can read some of the back stories, HERE. Not only was he able to gain the rights to use the name Action Force, but he found a number of old names that used to belong to GI Joe, left on the curb with yesterday's garbage and one he didn't hesitate to scoop up, was his favorite mail-away Joe, Steel Brigade. So while the Steel Brigade still has it's lore in GI Joe mythos, the new Steel Brigade of the Action Force, it everything you loved in that favorite helmeted trooper, but a whole lot more. Along with The Steel Brigade, there are 2 other character figures available right now, Condor and Bone Collector. There is also a troop builder stretch goal unlocked and we are getting closer and closer to unlocking another one and his gear. I for one can't wait to get mine, as the kickstarter is already funded, now it's up to us to unlock some stretch goals so we can get more troops for our toybox! The two prototypes I got the chance to look at were none other than Condor himself and a Stretch Goal female trooper, Eclipse. While she's a little ways away from being unlocked, you never know with these kickstarters. I for one, hope she gets unlocked, or gets close and is available by some other means(pre-order, future kickstarter, etc). Let me know if you pledged, who are you excited for and which is your favorite faction?
  11. Join me today looking at the New Walmart Exclusive Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker Black Series Figure. I got this in a trade with a Canadian collector. It's Starting to hit stores now in the states.
  12. Yeah, would loved a more vintage look, but maybe they're saving that for the Ultimates, kinda has a vibe of those purple carded rereleases... I'll have to get me a Rocksteady for the Rhino collection,
  13. I'll give it a shot, I just don't think the main character is that intriguing, lol. Unlike the imperials and what not. Still, I'll see how it is first. Who knows, maybe Cal will grow on me(like Ahsoka and Ezra did).
  14. You guys get an exclusive look at my next video. It uploads on Sunday, but watch it here first on TNI. -EDIT: I just made the video public as it was being wonky linking to it while in private. Join me today looking at the New Game Stop and EB Games Exclusive Purge Trooper Black Series Figure. I found this up in Canada at an EB Games in Montreal.
  15. Nominations were done here on the forums, there were posts here to nominate in the different categories.
