  1. just dont like the plastic like materials of of these live DC series figures, especially, the face and head parts. they look like cheap knock offs made from China. If you've been to Asia or South America, there are these fake figures sold on the side streets or shopping stalls, and that's how they look (and feel) like.
  2. man, been awhile since I posted, but this awesome news got me back to the TNI Forum...
  3. So long the original cast is there, I'm going to watch it...I've watched the 20th anniversary screening last year, i could only remember half of the scenes from the entire film, when my old man and I watched the first release, but still brings nostalgia. Too bad Egon's gone, but the remaining cast is still worth the ticket.
  4. Would you know bro if he'd be at same price as the regular sized figures.....pretty small to be sold at $27 and with shipping of $10.
  5. Interesting they got that Angela character too biblical by giving her a halo and sword...
  6. Was he? I thought they were eating fried chicken.. Guess it was a chicken and rib combo.......haha......yup liked that scene....and when Teela, said that earth people are too barbaric for eating chicken, yeah right, like they weren't try to kill each other.....lol!
  7. Gwildor taught me to drink gravy sauce from the cup every time we get KFC or Church's......he had strong influence on me as a kid.........I'll surely get him.
  8. Where'd you get it? Man, I don't know if I'd be glad that we don't get these figures in our stores, which me means I'm saving money or I'd be upset that we aren't. But I have to say, the thrill is not intense as during the era of TB ML and DCUC.
  9. That's awesome. It had a slow start. I was bored myself during the first few episodes but now the story is picking up. Hope they get a 2nd season.
  10. I have, at our nearby comic-action figure stores, which are raised $5-$10 more. Which is not bad.
  11. I am also part of this club and proud of it... This hobby became a lot more enjoyable the day I stopped being a completist... I agree with you man. I was still a completist during Toybiz ML, got almost every single figure from that line......but I look at some of them and I realize there were some which I could have been good without, plus figures are just too expensive these days.....and just picking out the best figures in the different lines would not only make the hunt more enjoyable but also that decision making whether you really want this figure or not and if it's worth to cost you your hard earned money, would add value to your collection.
  12. The line is wrapping up. We're at the last remaining figures. I don't think it would matter anymore if his successor wouldnt be as active. The line already has an established market, so no need for much promotion, and since he also already made the videos for the figures of the last quarter of 2014 and 1st qtr of 2015.
  13. ^ be proud of it bro! It means mind over matter, self control...freedom from the hold of any manufacturers dictate, that completing would bring nirvana......lol!
  14. Hope,it doesn't get cancelled, its in 4th spot in the tv ratings.....can't believe batman was overpowered by 4 nerds. Lol!
  15. It wasn't that bad only til recently....Imho though. The 2000s were a good era for toys, with accurate likeness copies of the characters, Marvel,Legends, LOTR, the 4 inch JLU figures, then DC universe classics, Transformers universe and Young Justice. It's only like last year, to me that it really felt it declined. Except when BL released those motuc, dcuc and ghostbusters oversupply figures. After that it went downhill again. Guess, the main advantage there, is we get to save our money. Though Hasbro's 6 inch black series would lead me to check out some aisles every now and then. Like twice a month, but yeah, not as before, when every sat, my,itinerary would be a stopover on all stores with toy merchandise. Reminds me of KBs, just love those quick stops over their stores.
