Ha ha ha. So of all the things that have been labeled "leaks" in regards to this movie, THIS is the one and only one that they want to go after? Why go after this one with any more or less ferver than any of the other leaks?

Unless of course they weren't really leaks at all and really just information that the studio WANTS you to know in order to get more publicity and attention, and calling them "leaks" because that just sounds more juicy... like something you're not supposed to see.

Gotta love the internet age and all the tricks they use just to get you to click on the link.

Jar Jar talks silly lightsaber:

http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/02/06/jj-abrams-talks-about-new-star-wars-episode-7-lightsaber

"Elsewhere in the interview, Abrams admitted he hasn't yet seen a first cut of the finished movie since editing is ongoing, and again re-emphasised his commitment to using real props where possible, instead of immediately relying on CG effects."

Again...real props? Real sets...cool. Real actors...cool...Location shots...cool. But does the repeated reminder of "real props" impress anyone? I remember a bigger promise to attempt traditional effects on whole. Sorry Pit Droid fans, I guess?

I wanna hear it screened for the Celebration crowd...I need to know if the geek reaction is as embarrassing as the BatmanVSuperman reaction at Comicon

I read the youtube comments just for the giggles. Many reported that they were in tears. One suggested that any "true" Star Wars fan bring a box of Kleenex to the theater because there is a "210%" chance that you're going to cry upon seeing this movie. Another claimed (with obvious sarcasm) that this looked like a Guardians of the Galaxy rip off. True to form, a butt hurt fanboy was there with an immediate list of reasons why this movie will be nothing like GOTG.

I really do enjoy stuff like this.

As a guy who likes to think he's a pretty "down to earth" SW fan, who greatly enjoys the OT, and who doesn't quite have the heart to replace his 90s SW toys with the "better", modern versions,I have to say that I think this new trailer was captivating. And I can almost guarantee I will not cry when I see this movie.

Haha. I agree. This is the other breed of fan that keeps me away from midnight showings. The guy that flipped over Wolverine stabbing a guy into a refrigerator...dont be that guy. NEVER be that guy.

Or this guy:

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Settle down, pal. No one wants to hear your terrible Jim Duggan impersonation.

Thought it was pretty damn good. Can't wait and loved the scene with Han and Chewie.. but it seemed like they just got back from the market with Banta steaks and some Blue milk and Leia was gonna ream them one for forgetting the Corellian Ale.

I'm sick of that @##@@ ball droid already. He's become the big distraction for lack of practical effects. 1:08 in the new trailer...I really doubt that is the "practical prop" rolling behind them.

Also: mark 1:25...modern camera movement cliche I absolutely hate with SFX shots. The 'oh, this is a real camera tracking movement catch up/zoom" crap.

I can't wait to pay $10 for my 3 3/4" scale ball droid figure. And $20 for my 6" scale ball droid! (JK)

They said they would make greater use of practical effects in this movie. I'm looking forward to seeing that because it will harken back to the original films. No one ever said there would be no CGI and if you think you're ever going to see a film in the geek genre with zero CGI, you're crazy.

I liked this trailer because there was a great mix of the new and the old, the familiar and the unfamiliar. It felt more like an extension of the OT than one of the sterile prequels. Right from the start, with that dialogue from ROTJ, you're hanging on every word. Is that old Luke talking or someone else? Then you see some of the new guys in action, the new chick and the black stormtrooper guy (I know their actual names are online somewhere but I'll wait til the movie comes out to worry about blazing them into my memory), I'm interested in what their story is about. Then at the end, Han and Chewie.

What DO you like about the trailer?

Again, a movie of this scale and reverence scripted and shot in a year's time. The Mouse can afford the time, the Mouse can afford the care...but the Mouse is a greedy, lazy Mouse.

And the ball droid is all we're getting for "revolutionary" improvements?

The only people expected to give more than 100% to these movies now are the fans

What DO you like about the trailer?

It was short?

No Carrie Fisher to scare the kiddies?

they're letting the fans know that there will be a ton of "real props" available for sale afterwards, lol. seriously though, i think that's part of it. they would make millions off of the props alone.

as if you havent been bombarded with it everywhere else:

Official Teaser #2 & Screencaps

"Chewie we're home" can only mean one thing...they made it back in time for another Life Day!

Han looks older (as he should), but Chewie looks the same. they should have added a little gray to his face, kind of how dogs get gray in the face as they age.
