  1. I ordered w 3.5 from smalljoes.com as well and haven't received them yet. They said the shipping date was July 22 as someone had mentioned before. I have faith in them but it had me worried that the wave had been completely cancelled. That was until I saw the above post. Has anyone actually seen these things in retail yet?
  2. I was able to pick up an Eaglehawk this morning at my TRU in Fort Wayne, Indiana. There were only two of them on the shelf. I don't think they had been there long either, as it appeared they restocked a lot of different items.
  3. Toys r us.com doesnt have them. I can't even get them shipped site to store. I was able to get 2 packs off of amazon. But that's not much.
  4. Well crap. Is there a place online I can get them?
  5. I love the gijoe kre-o sets that I picked up at toys r us, they are a lot of fun. And seeing all the classic characters in micro form rules. The building sets have been easy to find, but there were supposed to be blind figure packs coming out as well, and I can't seem to find them online or otherwise. Does anyone know when these were supposed to be released?
  6. With Toy Fair approaching in February, are we going to be seeing anything new for GI.Joe showcased? I feel like it's been really dry for a long time, but then again, there hasn't been a movie to support any new toy sales. Do we have any hope of the badassery of the line we knew a few years ago picking up after the dumb movie toys are released?
  7. No problem. I think these things are going quickly from what Ive seen. And though most people dont toy shop at walgreens for christmas, they will probably go faster the closer it gets to the holidays. Especially since you cant find Joes in Walmart anymore.
  8. I hit up a couple walgreens and a CVS (wabash/Huntington IN) and found a lot of good stuff. I picked up a Jungle BAT, two Steel Brigade troopers, and a Blowtorch. They also had Cobra Troopers, General Hawks, and some black deco Paratroopers. The price isnt good(10 dollars +), but if youre like me and have been missing your Joe fix,or you have holes in your collection check.out your local CVS and Walgreens.
  9. Thanks, guys. Not really the answer I was hoping for, but helpful nonetheless. Like you said, it will give me time to actually save up for something when it does hit. Or maybe I can get those Dreadnok/Marauders sets to tide me over.
  10. These last few waves or so have been great, but when are we going to see new stuff previewed? Don't tell me we have to wait until Toyfair.
  11. I guess I'm going to have to go a huntin' for wave 4, because both Big Bad Toy Store and Smalljoes have their 5 figure sets for around 60 bucks! That's a crazy 10 dollars plus for each figure. So lame.
  12. I'm glad someone made this post. I thought about doing it every time I opened a figure from wave 3. It seems as though Hasbro has finally figured out the exact formula of making a great action figure, and I think they should be commended. We got the best snake eyes and storm shadow figures ever made, arguably the best Scarlet ever made, a ton of great troop builders including Cobra Troopers(both the blueshirt and renegades versions rule) Iron Grenadiers, Techno Vipers, Vipers, and the amazing Shock Vipers. Most of the molds had great head sculpts, paint apps, and the extra head pack in was the icing on the cake.
  13. I have to agree with Mr. Creed. While some of molds are good they suck compared to the quality we've seen with the POC line. A lot of the figures are goofy and weak looking, or have odd proportions. For example, Zandar's head sculpt looks like Will Ferrel, Zanzibar and Gnawgahyde have tiny arms. There's just a lot of close set-eyes and plain bad -looking head sculpts. Spirit looks like a character from CONTRA? Who really gives a crap about having BURN OUT. Red Dog's football is bigger than his head!? I'm not saying I hate these things, I just think they're getting a lot more praise than they deserve. The only figures worth having in my over-critical eyes are: MERCER, FALCON, BARBECUE, TAURUS, ROAD-PIG, ZANYA, and THRASHER. Just because we're finally getting some of these characters for the first time in long time, doesn't mean they look good. Looks like I'll still be buying both packs even though less than half of the figures are ones I actually want. *sad trombone*
  14. I'm pretty pumped, myself. I only hope that these are either new molds, or really well frankensteined figures. These characters deserve no less, we've been waiting for them for a long time. #US1#
