  1. Isn't the Republic Commando slated for release in the Episode II themed wave of the new Saga collection?
  2. Hi. I've been thinking about this for a little while now. Since the AT-TE gunner has ball jointed hips, how hard would it be to swap his legs with the legs of the SA Clone Trooper(and actually make him super articulated)? Also, how does one even go about taking these guys apart?
  3. It's surprising how few people have even heard of Armored Trooper Votoms on this board. That thing is by no means a Gundam reject. Next to a Gundam or a Zaku, it's probably one of the most recognizable anime mecha ever designed. That's actually called the "down form". It's for pilot boarding, not a tank mode. It's not actually 1/18 though, supposed to be 1/12. However, what with Takara making a Microman of the show's main character in September, a lot of people are speculating we'll get a true 1/18 Scopedog.
  4. Huh, interesting. Liking what I see, and if you look closely, Rollbar has actually been remolded.
  5. Hasbro seems to have been making tons of bad decisions lately. What with the cancelation of Xevoz, now this, and on a lesser note, the sure-to-be-pegwarming-until-next-Christmast Supreme Sized Starscream(Supreme Cheetor all over again. Hell, they didn't even make any real changes to the mold from the Japanese version). I honestly don't know what Hasbro is trying to do. Seems like they're pissing off their fan bases left and right. 'Bout all that'll be left is Star Wars and Transformers, until they make stupid decisions with those lines. Let's hope for once they actually learn from their mistakes when Sigma Six makes its inevitable failure.
  6. I've actually found some of these. The company has a pretty decent line of KO robots(Brave, Transformers, Macross, etc.). Oddly enough, I found two of the figures were packed in with a KO of the Power Rangers' Astro Megaship. The guys they had packed in with the robot were that Firefly and one of those Stalkers, don't remember which though. I found it at a KB Liquidator, btw.
  7. I think the current problem lies in the fact that Hasbro's designers simply suck. Look at the wings on all of the jets released this year(Tigarhawk can be excused. It's wings aren't as bad as the others). Every single one of them has wings that are waaaaaaaaaaaaay too small and stubby. As a result, all of the aircraft look like junk. What happened to the days of Joes and Cobras having aircraft that looked like they could actually fly? Let's see a return to those days. As for the tanks... The Ringneck is a pretty decent Cobra tank. A tad small, but still pretty good. The Grizzly isn't a bad Joe tank either. The rest... well, all of the other small vehicles have pretty much sucked and really, do both sides need so many quads? Seems like we've had a ton of those lately(I know we haven't, but it just seems that way). And helicopters.... ugh. Not even going to comment on those.
  8. You found Astrays? Far as I know, they only released the Aile Strike, Launcher Strike, Deactive Strike, and the Buster and then mysetiously stopped all together.
  9. I know, that's why I brought this up. Its weird too because in San Diego they showed off a whole second series of SD Gundam Force toys and a slew of SEED MSIA(like Blitz and GINNs). I really want those ZAFT figures. Just don't want to shell out a ton for the imports.
  10. I've seen a few commercials, but they show about the only ones I've ever seen in stores on them(Buster, and Launcher/Aile Strike). Has anyone even seen the Astrays? I wish Bandai would get their act in gear and bring them back out.
  11. During G Gundam, Bandai was going wild, churning out Gundam figure after Gundam figure and then we're shown their new Seed lineup of MSIA. then things went weird. I don't know how it's been for everyone else, but I only ever found about 3 different figures released and only one store near me ever even had any. Does anybody know what's the deal with them? Has Bandai decided to pull the plug on all Gundam toys in the US? They showed off some new figures at the San Diego Comic Con, but that was a while ago and there still hasn't been a mass release yet, it seems. I'm really wondering what's happened with this line.
  12. Joe and Microman, I say. I'm probably the only one who would love to see Cobra facing off against Acroyears.
  13. my TRU hasn't even got any left anymore. I wish they did. I could use a few of them for parts.
  14. Southern California would be nice too. Seriously, it's getting kind of annoying that only certain parts of the country seem to be getting certain releases now. First no SPy Troops repaint wave, then absolutely zero single packs, then no wave 2 single packs, now no wave 2 BTR.
  15. I'm a little surprised nobody knows who those are. Or at least just haven't said. Those guys are actually the Symmetrical Docking mecha from the Brave series Gaogaigar. So, actually, they came before RID. Nice finds though, I wish I could get ahold of them. I for one wouldn't mind adding them to my combiner collection
