What can you tell us about the Blazing Sword Voltron?

I know I wasn't the one asked this, but I wanted to say that I really like Blazing Sword Voltron. It is a bit bland on from the back, but the articulation is pretty ridiculous and I like the inclusion of the two sword versions. It makes for some dynamic poses. I currently have him posed next to my Masterpiece Voltron. I have a feeling that if we get Robeasts they will be in this scale.

Here's a haul for the Ghostbusters, got my Library Ghost on Monday, I was out of town over the weekend, fortunately my sister in law took it in the house when she fed the cats. I am pretty happy with the figure, actually holding it in hand and comparing to pictures from the movie, it's a lot closer then I had though. One minor issue is I wish there were joints at the elbows, but other then that I am happy. The PKE's are cool and Egon itself is pretty much what we have already gotten with Ray.

Yeah if you go back and read my posts, I was a nay-sayer for her, but she came out great!

I just scored my first modern Ghostbusters figure thanks to LarryKoopa. I bought his Peter Venkman with the "proto-stream" effect, and I just absolutely love it. These things are alot more detailed than I was expecting. I think I just officially became a Ghostbusters collector.

Here comes another haul! My Walter Peck and Slime Blower Ray finally came on Saturday (over two weeks delivery time to Florida) and I am pretty happy with them. Peck was the only figure I had passed over (besides "Stack-o-books" Egon) and while the figure is pretty cool, Im afraid Will Atherton makes for a boring action figure. The containment unit is the money maker here, hands down! Very well done, lots of detail.

Same story for Slime Blower Ray. I cheated and swapped out Winstons head for Ray's when I got the SB Winston just to see how it looks and its pretty much the same thing. The blower details are great, though I still wish we had gotten some slime attachments. The theater ghost is another home-run, it reminds me a lot of the subway ghost.

So sad to see the go. I can't wait for Vigo in Dec, with the two weeks ship time and all the extra holiday stuff that will be going on, I doubt he will arrive before New Years.

That was your first figure!? Are you a MOC collector?

Yes, that was my first one. (lol) And actually I am usually a MOC collector, if the packaging's mint. If not, I'll buy them MOC and sometimes open them.

Got my slimed Peter today to go with my GB 2 figs. I sold my only GB 1 fig a while back. I can't help but wish the slim was more prevelant but hey $9 shipped MOC I can't really go there @loll@ I will say I was surprised how much I liked the peck figure (got that one for a frien). If they go super cheap again i might buy it.

Personally I didnt care much for slimed Peter, I thought the second release venkman with proton stream has a much better scuplt.

If you hold out, I am sure they will sell em again

I can see where you guys are coming from, I guess I'm kinda the opposite. I always liked the regular versions on things better, like I remember when I was a kid and had tons of Ninja Turtles, but my favorites were always the regular versions.

On a side note, anyone wanna take bets on who the final courtroom buster will be? My money is on Egon, just feels like I have too many Ray's already.

That's what I've been thinking, but then I realized that they packed Nunzio with his wrangler, Peter. Ray wrangled Tony. I want Egon to be the last figure and come with Tony, even though it would break up the correlation. Then Ray can come with the Jogger Ghost. Also, the Courtroom Peter used his GB2 portrait. The Slimeblower figures did, too. They might only be doing one version of each ghostbuster from GB2. Then it would have to be Court Egon and Tony!

Y'know...maybe I'm weird, but I'd like to see the "civilian" versions of the 'Busters from both films, specifically from the library scene in the first one and the museum scene in the second one where Venkman's taking pictures of the Vigo painting.

Yep, you're weird. Actually I'd like those too, if the line had lived long enough to where we also had more secondary characters too. I'd like to get those only if we already figures like either Janine, Mayor Lenny, and Janoz (sp?) not to mention a GB2 Tully!

I think it was Jangonate who mentioned a casual, no proton pack look too, like when they were in the firehouse and they had just hired Winston (BTW, it felt like everyone was smoking except for Egon, the nerd, I mean brain)

On the haul front, went to TRU last night and picked up RGB Peter/Winston and Tully/StayPuft minimates. Is it me, or did these go up in price? It was like $7.99 a pop, maybe I am just too cheap, but I thought it was $6.99. Oh well! These are so awesome, I love the little guys. Just need the ghosts and I will be set! I guess there are no plans for the line past these two waves, are there?

Janosz Poha is the correct spelling. Mattel doesn't have the rights to do a GB2 Louis. I would love casual busters, because I could always dress them up with the proton packs from the courtroom figure(s). I think the MiniMates have always been $8 a set. They are planning a third box set, but not a third wave. The third box set will be the Citizen Ghost Anti-Ghostbusters. EDIT: Sorry for the rambling responses. It's late.

Larry, as usual you are spot on! Yeah I know they can't do a GB2 Tully, but I figured it was a wishlist anyhow. I know Rick Morranis is living fat after that Flinstones payday, but a GB2 Tully complete with earmuffs is ideal to me. Ive seen a few nice customs, but I know I'll never buy one or make one on my own.

Now that you mention it, I do remember something about a Peoplebusters box set, I wonder if it will have a Winston though...

The People-Busters were a different group from the Anti-Ghostbusters (and unlike the AGBs, the PBs didn't have a parallel for Winston). There is a nice custom set of the PBs, but nothing official. The official box set is the AGBs.

PS: I'm so glad I came up with usable acronyms.
