Army Alphas: 6" Army Builder Line

CryptidToys

Recommended Posts

Cryptid Toys will be bringing you all a line of highly articulated 6" army builders called Army Alphas. There will be a Kickstarter campaign to launch the line in the coming weeks.

The Army Alphas line will be made up of several figures that are meant to be army built. Among the initial offerings, there will be a few versions of the SWAT, Soldier, and Skeleton figures. Parts are being kept interchangeable with Marvel Legends where possible and the idea is that this line can blend seamlessly with many other 6" figure lines. Each figure will come with various accessories. The SWAT and Soldier figures will come with an alternate head in order to diversify your armies even further. Ninjas are some of the other figures planned to be a stretch goal in the campaign so hopefully those will become a reality as well!

Comments, critiques, and feedback is all appreciated!

These are actually pretty cool. Really love the idea of a line made up exclusively of army builders. I'm thinking those SWAT guys would make great S.H.I.E.L.D. Troops.

On a side note, I've seen plenty of skeleton themed action figures, but I don't think anyone's ever done a full-on articulated skeleton action figure before. I really look forward to seeing how this one turns out.

Glad you like them! People seem to want to use the SWAT as Shield, Cobra Soldier, and GCPD stand-ins.

Boss Fight has an upcoming Skeleton for their line but it's 4" and the Revoltech one from a few years back is 5" so this is one of the few (or maybe the only) 6" Skeletons.

The Kickstarter campaign is now up! Also take note of the added articulation (bicep swivels, double hinged elbows) and thicker thighs that all Soldier and SWAT figures will have even though the fully painted prototypes don't show this change.
