FINALLY got mine on my doorstep last night. Got the regular Deadman (yeah! I already had the variant from Mikes Comics N Things...no relation), didn't chase around AT ALL having to look for these (I used to be a "thrill of the 'hunt'" kind of guy, until wave 10 never really showed around here...until the scalpers decided they couldn't make a ton of dough on them). I'm all in on the Blackest Night in the comics and GL is dangerously close to replacing Iron Man as my favorite character. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!

I can't wait to get these delivered from Matty! I hope I DON'T get the variant as I already bought one from Mike's Comics and Stuff (at a VERY reasonable price to boot!). It's SO NICE to not be chasing around, fighting the elements in the midwest to try and find these figs. Also, nice to not be sweating an e-tailer pre-order that may or may not be cancelled a la wave 9. THIS is how to collect figs!

I don't give a RAT'S A$$ how this hurts Wal-Mart, and with the exception of Mikes' Comics and Stuff, I'm not a big fan of the e-tailers either as I was a victim of credit card theft from ONE of them being careless with my information (I won't name names). I ordered from Matty and it was a BREEZE!!! I will buy EVERY WAVE like this if they decide to sell them that way. I'd sign up for a figure of the month like Masters of the Universe. KEEP IT COMING MATTY!!!!

Can anyone tell me when this reissue of the Series 5 as a five pack will hit the streets? Also, can I get a confirmation that this re-issue WON'T be a Wal-mart exclusive? Just curious....

Thanks for the offer as0f988, but I like the C&C and am shooting for the whole magilla. We collectors on these boards need to help each other out whenever possible. Again, I NEVER would have found at least the two figs I did, unless someone had posted what was going on with the Palatine store. I've been chasing all around, North of there and coming up with nothing. I did see a scalper on E-bay was selling sets and he lives in Mundelein, IL, so I think that guy has been cleaning out the stores in my area.

Thanks for the tip on this. I chased all the way down to Palatine from work on my lunch hour (ok, it was slightly closer to 90 minutes than 60) and found the Bats and Power Girls on the pegs. They were moved from an apparent endcap that was referenced above. I looked around them and found someone was nice enough to hide a Joker for me!!! So I grabbed the three figs, paid for them and left at least three Power Girls and three bats hanging there for someone else. Now I've got to hope I can get my mitts on the Man-Bat, Beast boy, Robotman & Forager somewhere... #US1#

I'm in Grayslake. Any chance you could hook me up with a Black bats and a Power girl? I've got NONE of these figs.....

Something is rotten in Northern IL on this wave. I chased around to 7 Walmarts around Grayslake and struck out completely. I spoke to an AM at the one closest to my house, they had five old figs on the pegs (blue beetle, two cyborgs, a Big barda, a flash and a kid flash), they checked the system and it said they had 37 in stock. They checked the back and couldn't find any where they were supposed to be. The guy even checked a fresh pallet for me. Anyway, he said he'd order a case for me (I trucked all the way up the Racine WI for Pete's sake!) but I'm not holding my breath. I'm guessing someone there knows what they have and hid the missing 32 somewhere until they got paid and could buy them (to turn around and scalp them). I'm so aggravated by this...I'm going to have to turn to E-bay in a week or so if this guy strikes out for me....grrrrr.....

I still haven't been able to get my mitts on Wave 10, nor GA or Black Canary from Wave 9....GAAAAA!!! These look awesome though.....

Chased around this morning and these haven't hit the far northern burbs of Chicago yet, SO FRUSTRATED by Walmart and their ineptness up here. Angry....... @grumpy@
