  1. Yes, but HE doesn't get a say in who uses his face. I don't care what kind of situational ethics or plastic fan-boy moral code you subscribe to, that's wrong.
  2. So YOU say. I say, once I'm done on this mortal coil, the Mako Bar is closed. That's the problem right there. WE are here to make that call. How do we know Ramis WANTED to be in another Ghostbusters? Even if he did, how do we know he'd want to be in THIS one. Hell, they've been throwing money at Murray for 30 years, and by all reports, HE still only barely drug his butt back. And make no mistake, this isn't being done out of love OR respect. They're using a dead man's face to put butts in seats that might not otherwise show up. That makes a man into a commodity, and there is no connotation, whether selling movie tickets, action figures, or picking cotton under which that's EVER been a good thing.
  3. I never said the movie wasn't going to be good (I DO have my doubts), I just think using a dead actor's likeness in a movie is, frankly, kinda disgusting.
  4. An action figure of a character based on an actor who died years before the movie the character appears in was even an idea. Jesus, Hollywood gets a little more creepy every day.
  5. I didn't even know Trachtenberg was attached to this . . . but it kinda makes sense. Everything I've heard about this movie gives me a vibe like they just scooped up a generic Sy-Fy Channel movie of the week script and retrofitted it for the Predator franchise, ala 10 Cloverfield Lane. Either that, or they want some of that sweet, sweet Asylum money so they're making their OWN mockbusters now.
  6. "Is there something in those bushes?" "Don't know. C-can't turn head. Comically . . . over-sized helmet . . . to . . . heavy."
  7. Good riddance. The last thing we need is another franchise crapped on by some narcissistic jerk-off who thinks the fact he was brought in solely for his name value gives him the right to reinvent the wheel.
  8. Nice looking figures, but I'm still a little gun-shy as far as video-game based figures go. Loved Hasbro's Overwatch, but they up and cancelled it on me without ever giving us a Winston OR a D.Va mech. Fortnite was a little "out there" but still cool, but distribution in my area was so spotty in the beginning, half the line had passed before I could find them with anything approaching consistency. So yeah, I'm played out on game figures.
  9. Same here. I've been a fan going all the way back to her guest-shot on Captain Power. Unfortunately, her choice of projects usually meant I didn't follow her career as close as I'd have liked. Got burnt out on the X-Files before she signed on, hate Walking Dead, The Boys and everything they stand for.
  10. That was a creative decision for Superman's show. Remember, it's been well established that A Superman does still exist in the Arrowverse, so the question is still valid. Frankly, having seen most of these shows, I'm pretty happy keeping Superman and Lois, and Stargirl, well away from them.
  11. Say what you will about the man, he knows how to spend his money. Not a criticism, mind you. If I had a couple mil to burn, you bet I'd be stroking MY ego. Go Todd, go.
  12. Bad choice of words on my part. I only meant I think they're both cute. Never meant to imply you were trying to start anything. My bad. Well said btw.
