The next Spider-Man movie

This thread is kind of about two things...sorry.

These Spider-Man movie rumors are getting out of hand!

First, everyone and their uncle wants us to know that Marvel wants the property back. They want him for Cap 3. They want him for Avengers 3. And we are told this every day. Yes.....we get it!

Then , depending on what day it is, you hear a rumor for a different Spidey villain to be getting his own movie.

Then there's the rumor about the next Spidey movie being an animated, comedic romp...

Now I'm hearing they want to start Spider-Man with a "clean slate". Their idea of clean slate being to cast......Toby McGuire!?!?!?!? Well, OK.

As a kind of side note, I'm also hearing that this debacle over The Interview could very well be the death of Sony and that actors are refusing to do movies for them. So Marvel may not have to worry about that too much longer. It's going to be very interesting seeing what happens thanks to the president this whole thing sets. Which will be the next movie that the terrorists try to dictate what we in America will or will not see under threat of death and violence? Thanks to this victory they've been handed, it's probably not going to be the last.

Sooo . . . the company holding the movie rights to Spider-Man, but who won't let him appear in the next Captain America movie, has become the target of a hack-attack supposedly in protest to a Seth Rogen slacker comedy about assassinating Kim Jong-un.

Dennis Miller where are you? The jokes are writing themselves now!
