  1. Happy Birthday!

  2. So it's just going to look like that sigma six crap again? I guess I won't be watching this show.
  3. It's nice to see that the Cobra Officer will finally come with his AK-47 and I noticed that the Crimson Guard is holding a Springfield 03 Rifle. I thought that was funny the comic for which this pack is based is titled "All About Springfield". Also, shouldn't there be a picture of the pack with Ace and Wild Weasel?
  4. Wave 1 Snake Eyes Wave 1 Storm Shadow Wave 1 Flint Wave 1 Cobra Officer Stinger Driver Serpentor Zartan Firefly Crankcase Breaker Rock N Roll I would like Flash more if he had his own, unique head instead of the same head as Grand Slam.
  5. That's what I would like to see but we're talking about Hasbro here. So it's probably just going to be the same Duke body again just because they think it's close enough because they slap a Flint head on top of it. It seems to me like it would make more sense to make Tiger Force Duke instead. Then they can take the money made from that to finally give Flint his own mold that he deserved in the first place.
  6. Was he talking about continueing to use the 25th Anniversary body styles for movie figures, or was he talking about continueing the theme of updating characters in their classic, 80s uniforms to have them out along with the movie figures? I hope it's the latter because I don't want to see classicly sculpted characters stop just because of the movie toys that I might not even want.
  7. Starduster. All they would have to do is give him Roadblock's (version 1) legs and make a new set of arms with rolled-up sleeves, a set of gloved hands and a new head.
  8. Is there anywhere on the internet where I can see good, clear and high resolution scans of all the playing cards that were given out at the 2007 Comic Con?
  9. What's the point of complaining. Everyone knows by now that Hasbro likes to take shortcuts whenever they can. Wave 1 proved that. I'll just skip this Firefly and hope another one comes out with his own unique mold in the future. Along with Flint, 85 Snake Eyes and the Cobra Officer.
  10. I'd like to see anything that's not a repaint or a slight retool of figures that were already made for the first two battle packs. I don't think that there is any chance of that happening though. I know several people seem to think there will be new sculpts in wave 2 and 3, but I just can't see how that's possible.
  11. It's not just an "excuse", Hasbro stated this exact fact in an interview in one of the latest Collectors' Club newsletters. They also specified that this problem only affected the first wave of single packs, and starting with wave two, there would be a huge improvement in the new tooling used. Trust me, Waves 2 and 3 will have a lot more new tooling than Wave 1 did. We'll all see for sure together at the end of the month during SDCC... Justin When you say "huge improvement in the new tooling used", do you mean that the figures will have all new parts or do you mean that they will be the same 10 figures from the 5-packs with new heads, removable gear and maybe a removable backpack and new gun and maybe if we're lucky a few new parts here and there for the main body of the figure?
  12. Now that we know who's going to be in wave 2, it's just a matter of figuring out which of the first 10 molds will be repainted/remolded to make the next 5 figures.@rolleye@ Are there ever gonna be any new sculpts made for the 25th anniversary line?
  13. Apparently the new issue of Lee's Action Figure News and Toy Review has pictures of Cobra Officer, Cobra Commander (Hooded), Storm Shadow (version 2), Snake Eyes (Version 2) and it also shows Flint. Over on the banned message board a poster by the name of Sallah gave descriptions of the figures in the magazine which took alot of my excitement away for the 25th Anniversary figures. @grumpy@ Sallah writes: "...every one of them reuses body sculpts from the figures from the 5 packs... Snake-Eyes with Timber shares the same body sculpt as the first Snakes with different chest gear and a new head... Hooded Cobra Commander is a new head and a darker paint scheme... Storm Shadow 2...new head, different gear, different paint sheme.. Cobra Officer is the same body as the Trooper with a new paint job and different gear... And saddest of the bunch...Flint is just Duke with a different paint scheme and a new head..."
  14. If someone could also PM me the new pictures, I would appreciate it.
