  1. Walgreens was not the only place to find thrm. Did they show up at Rite-Aid as well possibly? Anywhere else? I just remember it was a tough line for me to collect, even though I wanted to. rite aid, CVS, Eckards, some local "nic nack stores" all over NYC, , comic book shops, local pharmacy's and Pathmark pharmacy

  3. a little bit of paint and that toy face is pretty show accurate. far more thern some transformers anyway. ever see toy Ironhides face? That was an awful figures... That's why I loved when Hasbro released the Heroes of Cybertron line, because they look like the cartoon characters... those little pvc's were great

  5. I just re-read this part bof your post. I disagree.I feel the Go-bots toys are much more show accurate than transformers were. toon and toy were pretty "spot on" for Cy-kill
  6. umm, pardon me but what country do you live, or lived in back in 84? because in the US, Transformers first episode aired on September 17, 1984..............more then a month before the first Challenge of the GoBots episode that aired on October 29, 1984. Back in Venezuela the Gobots were on TV earlier than the Transformers. thats why I asked. I heard it was the same in other countries.

  8. Yeah just like in season 1 when Wheeljack & Sideswipe free Skyfire from his ice tome. How did Skyfire know who Wheeljack was either less how did he know who Brawn & Windcharger was and where Autobot HQ was at. I can see how Wheeljack & Sideswipe knew about Skyfire but how Skyfire knew Wheeljack,Brawn & Windcharger is pluzzing me? maybe he knew Wheeljack from back in the day, maybe they hung out in the same scientist circles. Well that part can't be right cause Skyfire was bestfriends with Starscream at the time so he still wouldn't know who Wheeljack was. why cant it be right? is Skyfire only allowed 1 friend>? Is Skyfire only allowed to know 1 scientist? is Skyfire and Starscream the only 2 scientist on Cybertron?

  10. thats another easy one. 2 answers in the episode "the burden hardest to bear", GALVATRON was haunted by the ghost of past primes when he had the matrix.Optimus;s ghost was one of them. and besides, if i have been fighting a guy for over 9 million years, I think I would recognises my enemy no matter what he looks like. I would think Prime would of been like Starscream and was like Megatron is that you? Optimus isn't so full of himself that he would doubt his instincts like Starscream did..

  12. actually if you pay close attention to the dialog, the answer to that question is given. from the dialog JESSICA MORGAN This is it! There's enough here to coat you and make you impervious, Optimus! there was only enough of the stuff to cover Optimus
  13. @smilepunch@ And that's why I liked the "soft" continuity that stokovor2000 mentions. They were individual enough to stand alone (for the most part), yet still gave a sense of events that had happened. Season 3 has a bit of this as well, but season 2 consisted of a lot of one-shots, especially the second half, that were clearly meant to intro characters and sell toys. imo, "soft continuity" does not rise to the level of true serialization. but I guess its better then nothing.
  14. I never said it was "all" accidental.lol
  15. Hmmmmm...I'm pretty sure "Transport to Oblivion" and "Roll for It" from season one back up to each other intentionally. Oblivion ends with Megatron traveling to Cybertron in the space bridge. "Roll for It" begins with Starscream bragging how he is the new Decepticon leader, and Shockwave and Megatron contact him from Cybertron, commenting how he is injured as a result of their recent battle. I think there are intentional links throughout the season, mostly because it revolves around the space bridge. Are there some eps that defy this continuity? Yes. But it is there. At least, so says wikipedia:Season 1 "Where the first season primarily functioned episodically but had a general continuity from episode to episode, which thus required they be viewed in a specific order, Season 2 and its syndication goals saw this method of storytelling dropped in favor of single-episode tales mostly without lasting repercussions which could hence be generally watched in any order that networks chose to air them." your examples kind of make my point. the links were rather "soft" and short.A line or 2 and thats it. sure it makes for continuity, but true serialization calls for more impact from 1 story to the next.
