Absolutely outstanding. This is the best custom Grayskull I've seen. We can only dream that Mattel would make something similar for us.

Is this the same Joe Amaro who did the 200X customs that appeared in ToyFare? This should appear in there, too.

I hate Fisto swords @loll@
Sorry, I have no more that was a long time ago.

So...moving forward, I really tried to capture the essence of the box art.
That has always been my favorite part of the the He-Man toys.

If the Horsemen sculpted a Castle Grayskull for this line, I imagine it would look strikingly similar to this as they've used box art for their own inspiration.

I can't get over the size of this. I've always felt the toy Grayskulls were too small, but this one seems to nail it.

What does the back of this Grayskull look like? And though it's perfect as is, have you given any thought to expanding it with separate pieces? Maybe some original designs?

So Joe when you create a piece do you make 2?? For example do you know who currently has the marzo that was auctioned a few years back by (I believe) Toyfare?? And secondly What would I need to do to get a Snake 2 armor?? I know you used to do commission work so I was just curious.....

@faint@ WoW, that Castle is amazing. It doesn't even look like you made it from scratch either. Outstanding! @notworthy@

Not really, usually I only make one.
Sometimes I sculpt them so I can make casts, so that they are sturdier.

The Count Marzo figure was made for ToyFare Magazine.
I donated it to He-Man.org and it was auctioned off to raise money for the site.

I usually do not do commission work for customs figures.
I learned my lesson @loll@

jamaro you need to insure your hands for $1M each, and then gold-plate them - your sculpting skills are off-the-hook! I've admired your 200X Custom Castle Grayskull since 2002!!! And this classics one does not disappoint. Do you ever wonder how much money you could fetch on eBay for these works of art?

Joe might still have it on his site somewhere, I'm at work or I'd link itto ya, but I'd have to explain why there's a huge castle grayskull on my screen if someone inquired lol.

The 200X Castle he created is 3-dimensional, has all 4 walls and a roof, he even did some landscaping with a bridge if I recall. It's truely a work of art and in-scale with the figures. I hope he's planning to add the other 3 walls to this one.
