The first competition will begin next Monday (12/08) and it will be the G.I.Joe Toy Trivia Contest.
Here is how the competition will work. In a Thread that will be started by me called “G.I.Joe Toy Trivia Contest” I will post 1 trivia question each day next week (Mon-Fri) sometime between 11am and 6pm EST. that will be assigned to a particular team member from each team. ONLY that team member can send in their answer for that question via PM to me. The first team to PM me the correct answer will get the points for that round. Each question will be assigned a certain number of points which will be announced as each question is posted and the team that wins that round will then be assigned those points. The team at the end of the competition with the most points will be the winner. If by some chance you send in a incorrect answer or a team member other than the one who was assigned the question sends in the answer your team will have points subtracted from their total. In the slight event of a tie at the end of the week we will have a bonus run-off round between those teams that are tied.
In the event no team is able to answer the question correctly we will throw the question out to the audience (board members not on a team) and give them a chance to answer for a prize.
At the end of each round I will update the team standings with the current points and which team won that particular round with and what the correct answer was.
EXAMPLE of how it will look:
Thread Name: “G.I.Joe Toy Trivia Contest”
Question 1: What figures came with the original G.I.Joe: Real American Hero “Wolverine” vehicle?
This question is assigned to the following team members to answer and worth 2 points:

Each team member will be assigned at least 1 question with some of you with less than 5 members on a team having to double up.
Also forum (non-team) members are welcome to post what they think the answer is in the question thread, or maybe what they want you to think the answer is. In other words someone if they were so inclined might post an answer that is wrong but sounds good to try and trip you up, so if you use their answer and send it in with it being wrong it could cost your team points. We will be doing random drawings during the week of those "Helpfull" forum members who posts their own answers. Those people who have their name drawn will be entered into a pot for grand drawing at the month to win a prize. (look for announcement of what that prize will be in the days to come). Then again maybe they are being helpfull and will give you the right answer
. If your team have any questions about the rules for this competition please have your Team Captain PM me with it and good luck to all of you. Oh and just in case you were wondering, the questions will be much harder than the one used in the example here
