  1. Yeah, I've realized that. However considering they cost close to 20 in Canada, I can live with it.
  2. Well we now have an answer. It looks like Mattel is shooting for wave 11 to be the first on their website.
  3. Yeah, I remember reading the one month later biut, and the starting with wave 9 bit. I love the $12 pricing. I'd just feel reassured if, as we get closer, we were hearing something. You would think they'd advertise something like this. I'm not sure whether the short supplying of etailers is a good or bad sign. Maybe they didn't get enough from the factories and therefore don't have product to sell.... Or maybe they're holding back product to sell themselves. I can see it going either way. Once again my biggest beef with collecting DCUC is the lack of easy availability. Here's my money Mattel, are you going to take it or what?
  4. So we're starting to get close to it being 1 month after wave 9 went on sale. Does anyone have any info on whether these are going up on Mattycollector?
  5. ooooo. Trigon. I hadn't thought of him. What a killer BAF he would make.
  6. It's a big pass for me. Shame really, as I'm always looking for more DCUC product.
  7. The date is Oct 15. Read it in an interview on criticalmess
  8. Thanks for the review. I just may use them.
  9. Has anyone used www.goldenagetoys.com ? If so how were they? I like not having to pay the border taxes or shipping for that matter, but would like to get some feedback first.
  10. Has anyone spotted them at TRU in Canada?
  11. It sounds like we are very similar with our collecting. I got the exact same figs you did for the exact same reasons. I also hate doubling up. I'll have 2 Animal "Men" which I normally avoid, but what are the odds of getting a B'wana Beast down the road? With the exception of Black Lightning, I highly suspect I'll end up replacing Blue Devil and Creeper eventually when DCUC does a better job.
  12. The thing that gets me is that DCD showed they can do good Perez inspired figures in the past. I loved the Titans figures and the 1st appearance Nightwing. Shame they didn't get the same sculptors. I wonder why they are even saying it's based on his art. I'd be more gracious if they didn't raise my expectations.
  13. Really? But their Aquaman is such a true representation of your avatar! Hahahahhahahaha. Thats pretty funny! Thanks for the laugh!
