Call me stupid, but I don't understand the problem with distribution. Maybe Hasbro didn't expect the consumers buying up Wave 1 so fast, but you'd think that after that happend they would've learned to put out more product the next time they released a wave. I can't find wave 2 or 3 anywhere, even hasbro Toyshop.com is sold out of wave 2 and I don't know where to turn. I don't mean to whine, but yeah, admitedly, I am a little scared of not finding them at all. Supply and demand Hasbro. Don't you want money? Money's good right? Here I am with my fist full of cash. Just gimme my damn Shipwreckses!

What you have to realize is as much product as they are pushing out - they don't churn it out over night. Many of these figures have been made or almost made after we saw them at SDCC. Probably the same reason the retooling is happening in '08 - those weren't made when fans jumped on the bandwagon and wanted some Joes that could sit. Sure the factories are still spitting them out, but what we are seeing was most likely made months ago. You have to factor in making all of them. Boxing them. Shipping them to a local warehouse. Then shipping them to vendors' warehouses. And then shipping them to the actual on site stores. Not an over night process.

I believe Hasbro caught on to exactly hard these are too find and I wouldn't worry much. The first bit of SW 30th this year was sparse, but after 3 or so months it went into full stride.

I really feel like Hasbro doing a ok job with getting the product out. So far I've come across everything several times and gotten everything I've wanted. Sure there have been time swhen for a week there is nothing on the pegs, but as soon as there are figures on the pegs they fly off. When you compare how much space the 25th Anniversary figures are getting compared to everything else on the boys toys aisle, well it's almost none at all. On top of all that if you factor in that stores were unprepared for the demand and that most of the people are buying multiples of all the figures (just look through most sites forums and people who post pictures of what they got usually have two or more of everything) along with the cases being small, well it all adds up. What you really have to look at is the fact that if we're noticing the fcat that stores can't keep these in stock that the stores themselves are realizing it too.

I went to a Target store that just opened for business today. I got there just after 8 this morning and the place was pretty dead. I walked out a few minutes later with Beachead, Serpentor, a Cobra Officer, and two Cobra Troopers. This was my first significant find of single Joes anywhere in this town.

Ive got an idea.....why dont you greedy SOBs stop taking 2or 3 of the same figs.....while some of you gloat and say youve found wave 3....some of us havent even found wave 2. I see why we cant now...because some of you take all the damn figures. I was thinking this was all hasbros fault..but now i see its some people here who hae to have one to open....one to keep mint in card...and another to do what ever it is you do with them....give me a break. Why do you have to have one mint in card anyway??????? Like your ever going to sell them!!! Leave some for the rest of us.....if you want doubles well order them online........Im done collecting this crap!!!! Wait....I cant collect because I cant find them..because some jacka.. has to have triples. Enjoy your Joes.....because most of us cant!!!!!

Spakmonkey,

I understand the frustration. It hard enough to wait for it to come, but sometimes self control is better than getting upset.

The popularity for these is phenomenal. I am not disagreeing about your frustration. It sometimes annoying. But not all people who are buying these are scalpers or hoggers. Some are getting them for their children or for other collectors, so that they don't have to be frustrated either.

I was in the same boat and decided to purchase them online. It was worth it to pay a little more instead of paying more in gas to find them or anger and frustration.

Please have patience it'll come.

I found wave 3 at a target in Frederick Md today. They had one of each, the Stalker was the corrected version. I picked them up so their no more at that store, but they are starting to show up in the MD area. did leave a Cobra Officer behind.

Also for 8" I also saw that last wave of figures the one with the new Destro and Voodo Samurai guy.

Found a Red Ninja at a local Wal-mart but thats all so far, I also found a wave 2 Trooper at Target that I believe is the one shipping with wave 3 but not 100% sure. So far I have all of wave 1, all except Beachhead for wave 2 and only Red Ninja for wave 3. I also still need 1 of each wave 2 and 3 for my son except the wave 2 trooper. The crappy part is I have 3 Wal-marts in my area but only 1 carries GI joes at all and our TRU closed a few years ago, so I am limited to the 1 Wal-mart and the lone Target we have. Guess on the positive it cuts down on places to run and check but also limits places to run and check.

Hasbro's behind on just about everything right now. I think the BIG reason is the demand for Transformers movie stuff. They're putting all their efforts into manufacturing as much of that as possible because the demand is unprecented, and maybe Joes and SW and stuff are being affected by that.

Well, it may just be my area then. I'm caught up through Wave 3 of Joes (except haven't found a Wave 2 trooper yet) and I've seen every Star Wars figure except for the brand new (Wave 6 - I belive?) Malak/Raven wave and Concept Boba and Vader. Of course I'm really more of a clone trooper guy - just needing Red/Yellow/Green officers and the re release Hunt for Grievous.

I still haven't found wave 2. @hmmm@ The one and only time I saw the wave one figures I bought them. This doesn't sound too tragic, but I live in NJ, and work in NY, and as a result, I get to toyhunt 3-4 times a week in two different states. Where the hell are the Joes?!?!?!?!?!

Well, I see alot of Airborne/Marines/basic AOTC/ROTS clones and the like. I just haven't found most of the clone officers or Dark trooper.

Of course I posted that yesterday and today I found Mcquarrie Boba UGH and McQuarrie Vader. As well as most of Wave 6. Apparently living in North Georgia where even most kids don't play with toys has its advantages. @firedevil@

I do agree, the distibution is wanky on the Joes.I have found wave 2 here and there at Walmart and Target. It may be a while before our stores get in wave 3.TRU interms of Sinlge Joes has been terrible. They been getting in the 8inch Zartan and those but no basic figures.

What I find puzzling is why a bunch of retail shops get the Wave 3 figures, but online retailers like BBTS haven't gotten all of theirs yet. I am still waiting for my Wave 3 preorder becasue only a few came in so far and they were shipped out to those who made the first preorders. I preordered VERY early, so the fact that I don't have mine yet means that Hasbro has so far provided very few to the online retailers.
