The Avengers - early bootleg cam release

so because at some time before 1981 the Hulk lost his powers can we say that Superman ripped off an issue of the Hulk comics????

Indeed not. I think you've just debunked your own argument.

Besides the cooincidence that both heroes loose their powers in their second movie (which you just pointed out correctly to be a common superhero occurance), I'm not seeing any other "clear rips". Unless there was an alternate ending to both Spider movies in which Peter achieves time travel to make all conflict that occured in the previous two hours moot :) THEN you'll have something...

(oh...and, bootleggers are crooks!)

How did I debunk my argument, I was pointing out the obsurd flaw of saying that it was linked to a comic when EVERY superhero has lost their powers. The Spiderman movies were all direct rips except for this new one. Then you try to get technical by mentioning the time travel nonsense.............I was speaking to the general story arc but I will assume you are playing coy to validate your flawed point. The pacing and direction of Spiderman 1 was exactly like Superman 1...even down to the adoptive fathers having a quote that impacts the final outcome "one thing I do know son and that is you are here for a reason"..."with great power comes great responsibility". Spiderman 2, the overall arcs were him losing his powers, finally getting the girl and the reveal, including the ending where they understand they cannot be the together!!!.......same as Superman 2. Superman 3 with all of its flaws down the idea that he fights 2 villians and turned bad were all ripped into Spiderman 3. I didn't even make all the other little small points but what I did mention shows glaring consistency and if you choose not to see them then fine, again truth never needed validation from the TNI Marvel Mob.

its funny how every marvel movie stole their ideas from DC @smilepunch@ :OT:

but im sure if anyone has seen this bootleg, they wouldn't tell you, well not on here anyway!! @l@

buying my tickets today!! Who's with me?? @popcorn@

No one said every Marvel movie but Spider-Man was a clear rip, Spiderman 2 was a clear rip of Superman 2, both lose their powers, Spiderman 3 ripped Superman 3 both became bad...........nuff said!

Also the end of the Avengers does have ideas and scenes taken directly from the Superman movies, here is a little note to you.........truth never has and never will need validation from Bumblebee85, and thankfully so! It really is sad when people take what you say out of context, so far out of context that its almost like lying, all in an effort to debase someone. How ugly and wicked is that?

Who cares about the stupid bootlegs, if some moron is willing to pay for a DVD of a crappy copy then more power to him. I am happy with all the things the radio station can provide, how many people get advance tickets and can say they interviewed Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and just last night Lou Ferrigno and Roberta Flack........not many if any here on TNI!!!

Speaking on Lou Ferrigno, we interviewed him last night and asked him about playing the Hulk in the new movie, for those who don't know Lou did the voice.

put your face on the side of a milk carton, because you're lost dude!! i'm sorry but any truth is lost on you...like what you like! i just find it a huge stretch to say spider-man has ripped off superman, oh wait, they both wear red and blue...i see it now!!

but i guess you're the only one here that sees this magical truth!!

but the thread was aboot the bootleg, and i was trying to get it back on topic, as i've heard before...NUFF SAID!!

That quote comes directly from the source material and has defined Spider-Man for the last 50 years! Why would anyone trying to make a good Spider-Man movie NOT incorporate that into the film??? It's part of who the character IS. Superman I and Spider-Man I are both origin stories. Not quite a "clear rip".

If I remember correctly, Spidey GETS the girl after number 2 and the reveal actually sticks because MJ didn't have her memory wiped by time travel shenanigans. Not quite a "clear rip".

1. I never said all Marvel movies ripped off Superman, just the first 3 Spiderman movies and I made it very clear., This is what happens when people can't accept the truth, they try to mock you because their flawed points have failed.

2. There is no magical truth and nothing about truth can be magical, it is the ultimate reality and the reality is that the 3 Spidey movies borrowed heavily from the Superman films. It isn't even like its one, or two but ALL FRIGGIN three. Then I hear people say that the stories were ripped from the comics, ummmm, ok but how many different stories does Spidey have that they could of chose from, how ironic in the same pattern they chose stories that enabled them to make movies that only appear to be ripped from the Superman movies........hmmmmmmmm

@@ Spoilers@@@

Most of the reviews are great but here are a few that showcase exactly what I was saying

One thing I like is that it is universally accepted that Hulk smashing Loki repeatedly is the best scene in the movie and one of the top best scenes ever in a comic book movie

Oh here we go the DC guy is scouring the web for unfavorable reviews of another Marvel Movie, including one from a website called DCfilmreview wow I don't have to read that one to know where they stand. The movie's here, most moviegoers and comic fans love it and it seems to be doing well, get over it already. One day many years from now when DC is able to get a successful superhero franchise in theaters that is not Superman or Batman you'll get your Justice League movie, and you'll be happy then. I'm sure both Brandon Routh or and Cristian Bale would reprise their roles along with Ryan Reynolds. They'll fight Parademons on the street and at the end Superman would trick all the bad guys in to losing their powers in the fortress of solitude in an anti climatic resolution to the fight.:D

P.S. Green Lantern ripped all of the Marvel movies with an after credits scene to set up the next movie.

Green Lantern also completely ripped off Billy Madison. You know, one had a scene involving a flaming pile of crap and the other one was a flaming pile of crap

Does anyone besides me find it silly to the point of ludicrous that someone that clearly worships Superman thinks Captain America is "boring?"

All that tells me is that this person only cares about power levels, because once you strip away the superpowers and the details of their origin, they're virtually the exact same character

If there were a smiley face with a sign that read "I'm Kate Upton's boyfriend" I would use that and it would magically become reality.

The website titled DC is not the DC comics website. Also the reviews weren't negative but just mirror what I said, you guys seem not to be able to comprehend that I liked the Avengers movie but that it breaks no new ground and the plot is just ok. Also no one wants a Justice League movie with the actors you mentioned except Ryan Reynolds, he did a good job as GL.

They do have similarities in character but they are different. Captain America is a wannabe who takes some juice to become what he could not be, motivated by propaganda and steroids is not impressive and is boring.

I am the winner in truth, just like I proved my points on Spidey movies with glaring facts and points........but hey, I do hate the Spidey movies they just don't hold up to the hype they once did IMO, especially not the first and second one, especially the horrible Green Goblin

I actually thought of that at some point, especially when both characters have similar morals and ideas I have even heard Superman been referred to as a big boyscout in some circles.

And the other is an illegal alien who needs the sun to give him powers and is allergic to a green rock, and whose idea of a clever disguise is a glasses and a combed hair, that's not only boring but lame.

I would like to make this final comment because this has gotten wayyy out of control.

I like and enjoyed The Avengers movie..........what Marvel and the studios have been able to do is masterful. I do not like every installment, I find (Captain America, Iron Man2) vomitous while others are some of the best comic based movies of all time (Iron Man 1, Thor). I respect the efforts of those who made this happen and just like how Superman defined heroes in movies, bringing the Avengers together has done the same. I don't like all the aspects but I sure as hell respect them, actually it makes me find Warner Brothers and DC pretty disgusting that they have not been able to do more....excuse me they actually do comic based movies but most of them are stuff like Constantine and the Losers....crap like that.

That said, The Avengers movie is good, NOT GREAT and is probably one of the best comic movies of our time which IMO is a very short list. In actuality I don't care for most comic based movies, below are my tops:

Superman the movie

Superman II

X-Men First Class

Watchmen

Batman 1989

Green Lantern

Batman 2 (Nolan)

Thor

All the others are either ok, lame, or awful.

How about the X-Men just walk around in public........Rogue, Storm.....Wolverine.........yeah I wouldn't talk crap about glasses.

Remember Superman is the first and original Superhero, everything you love is inspired off his creation, even the name SUPERHERO comes from SUPERMAN!!!! He inspired the entire genre down to his powers and outfit. Superman follows a wonderful biblical archetype of Moses and Jesus who saves not only the world but the universe and all you have is a nerd who suffers from blind propaganda and some steroid cocktail who fights on the side of only the Americans.......yeah because we never do wrong.........corny, boring, war time garbage.

now, that is my final thoughts!

EDIT: Oh yeah, everybody who is not a Native American is an illegal immigrant

I give credit where credit is due, bringing all of these together has been a masterstroke on a level never seen before.

I would give credit to Jon Favereau and Robert Downey Jr...responsible for the only passable Marvel movie that has somehow dominoed into this team-up

and or maybe Disney, for helping Marvel's usually bankrupt ass?

Dude, only reason DC has never been bankrupted, they've had WB's backing!! For a stand alone comic company, they've survived!!

F'n fanboy!! The only decent Marvel movie?? What a load of croc!! I bet you think the garbage that was Green Lantern was a masterpiece of a movie!!!

I a stated Marvel fan, love Nolan's Batman trilogy!! Genius!! I can look at a movie at hive it a chance, even if it's not my favorite universe!! You, and a few others on this board, probably go into a Marvel movie just looking for ways to dismiss it!!

That's what seperates DC from Marvel fans, we don't have to tear apart something else just to make ourselves feel better!!
